IMMERSIVE TRAIN JOURNEYS (POST-VOYAGE)
Following your Kimberley Expedition on Silversea, this remarkable program includes a scenic rail voyage aboard The Ghan from Darwin to Adelaide, with comfortable accommodations before and after your train journey.* Following welcome drinks and canapés in Darwin, the journey unfolds with immersive experiences — from exploring the Katherine Region and its majestic Nitmiluk Gorge to discovering the limestone formations of the Cutta Cutta Caves. You can even choose to view the vast Outback from above with optional helicopter upgrades. As the train travels south, highlights include Alice Springs, where guests can walk through sacred sites such as Standley Chasm, step into history at the Telegraph Station, or spot native wildlife at the Desert Park.
Continue on to Coober Pedy and discover a surreal underground town famed for opals and otherworldly landscapes like the Breakaways, with optional scenic flights over Painted Hills and Lake Eyre. The final leg passes through the Flinders Ranges, where jagged mountains and ancient gorges frame the journey into Adelaide. This Land Program by Silversea offers an immersive exploration of Australia’s Top End, beginning with a scenic drive from Darwin into Kakadu National Park. Visitors are treated to spectacular wildlife encounters, including boat cruises through wetlands teeming with saltwater crocodiles and vibrant birdlife, alongside visits to iconic Aboriginal rock art sites.
Beyond Kakadu, the journey continues southward to Litchfield National Park, renowned for its lush waterfalls and striking sandstone formations. Visitors can relax by Wangi and Florence Falls, enjoying refreshing dips amid breathtaking scenery. Throughout the experience, guests stay at the eco-friendly Bamurru Plains, a luxury lodge that is home to one of the largest crocodile populations in the world.
