The ocean ecosystem is our home. It’s also how we reach our stunning destinations. However, it’s as fragile as it is vast. With Silver Nova, we’re introducing a new way of looking at sailing, at the environment, at the ocean itself. Thanks to her, state-of-theart technologies, Silver Nova is one of the most sustainable cruise ships ever built: a true reflection of our deep commitment to the oceans, the environment and the communities we find at each of our splendid destinations.

Silver Nova was designed from her backbone to lower her environmental impact as much as possible, starting with the carbon footprint for her construction. Her hull was designed to increase dynamic efficiency and minimise fuel consumption. She also incorporates state-of-the-art technologies to reduce onboard waste, such as the newly-developed Micro Auto Gasification System (M.A.G.S.), resulting in lower

incineration emissions, and a Waste Heat Recovery System which allows the ship to reuse waste heat (ie. from the absorption chillers) for even more energy efficiency. Furthermore, she’s equipped with Shore Power, a feature that allows Silver Nova’s main generators to be shut down and the ship plugged into the onshore energy supply where available, cutting emissions while in port.

The Pool Deck surrounds you both inside and outside the water, with an extraordinary horseshoe design that features unobstructed views out to sea and the beauty of your destination wherever you are. These extend from the main pool all the way to the bar so you can enjoy every second and every sip.

The Dusk Bar opens up to welcome you to the horizon, as our brand new open-air sky bar affords you incredible 270-degree views. Enjoy an espresso in the afternoon as you gaze out at your destination, a hot chocolate on chillier days, or a delicious cocktail at sunset as you mix it up with your fellow travellers.

The Marquee is an entirely new way to relax onboard with two delectable dining options in one - The Grill and Spaccanapoli - both overlooking the waters of your destination. With seaside tables and a large variety of dishes from a quick bite to a Hot Rocks dinners under the stars, it’s the place to be on Silver Nova (see next page).

Silver Nova was built from the water up to be the most open possible, with an innovative design that features breathtaking vistas all around. Glass walls are found in all suites and most public spaces, with many sporting larger floor-to-ceiling glass than ever before. Glass elevators feature your destination as decoration, and our La Terrazza dining venue has 270° of glazed glass all around the restaurant. All this culminates in our one-of-a-kind Atrium, with a continuous floor-to-ceiling “glass wall” that spans two whole decks. And there’s so much more. With uninterrupted panoramas visible from all over the ship, Silver Nova can, at times, seem completely transparent, as it opens you up to the world like never before.
