Q: What is the concept behind this new Voyage Collection?
A: Named 'Let the World Surprise You,' the collection is built on a simple belief: the rarest luxury is still being surprised. Itineraries are timed to seasonal wonders, curated access to cultural events, and destinations few ships can reach. Many of the itineraries have been meticulously scheduled to coincide with seasonal events and cultural festivals – including Formula One in Monaco, Japan's matsuri (cultural festivals), harvest season across Europe's Atlantic coast, and more – with sailings featuring longer port stays, late departures, and more than 50 overnight calls.
Q: What are the key themes of the collection?
A: The collection is built around five major stories:
- Immersive events and festivals
- Authentic discovery through small ports
- Silver Nova and Silver Ray in iconic destinations
- New European expedition voyages
- A more seamless Antarctica experience
Q: What is new in this collection?
A: Key innovations include:
- New S.A.L.T. culinary voyages
- Expanded use of boutique and lesser-known ports
- Greater itinerary combinability
- New Mediterranean and Baltic expedition programs
- Enhanced Antarctica Fly-Cruise options
- Festival-themed voyages in Europe and Japan
Classic
Collection Summer 2028
Q: What’s new in the Classic Collection?
A: The Classic Collection Summer 2028 brings greater depth, variety, and seasonality across Silversea’s core regions. In the Mediterranean, five ships will
offer a rich and flexible program across France, Italy, the Adriatic, Greece, and Turkey, with an expanded selection of boutique ports, improved itinerary combinability, and more overnights in iconic cities. Northern Europe will welcome Silver Nova for her first season in the region, sailing alongside Silver Spirit and creating more opportunities to experience the British Isles, Norway’s Heritage Fjords, and harvest-themed journeys. In Alaska, the return of Silver Muse alongside Silver Moon strengthens Silversea’s two-ship presence and allows for itineraries with more time in port. Canada and New England will be refreshed with Silver Spirit, a Fall Foliage-focused deployment, and extended stays in key ports such as Quebec City, Halifax, Boston, and Portland. In Asia, the program places a strong focus on Japan aboard Silver Whisper, with Kyoto and Osaka turnaround voyages, selected China sailings, and a more immersive festival-led season.
Q: What immersive events and festivals will be featured?
A: The collection is designed to connect guests more closely with the cultural rhythm of each destination through a curated selection of immersive events, festivals, and seasonal moments. This includes among others:

• Spain and Italy: Feria de Sevilla, Palio di Siena, Puccini Festival, Semana Santa Lorca, and Redentore Festival in Venice
• Turkey and Gallipoli: ANZAC Day Gallipoli Commemoration Journey, honoring the 1915 World War I campaign and the enduring ties between nations
Q: Which new or reintroduced ports does this collection include?

In the Mediterranean, Silver Wind expands the expedition portfolio with voyages through the Adriatic, Greek Isles, Western Mediterranean and Northern Africa, offering a more intimate and exploratory way to experience some of Europe’s most culturally rich coastlines.
