Youth Retreats Welcome to Silver Bay and thank you for considering us for your upcoming youth retreat. Youth retreats have become a fundamental part of Silver Bay. Located amid the Adirondack Mountains, Silver Bay is the perfect place for your group to develop new skills, learn how to work as a team, share fun experiences and learn cooperation!

Silver Bay is an all-inclusive, year round resort that sits on 700-acres of property with hiking trails, one-mile of developed shoreline, and a variety of accommodations to fit your needs. Our dedicated staff will work with you to provide a safe and refreshing experience for every child.

Program Activities Our Conference Service team will work with your group and our certified Program staff to develop a dynamic and effective schedule that utilizes recreational tools and Silver Bay programs such as our climbing wall, low ropes course, archery range and wilderness initiatives.

Our site can accommodate groups as small as 12 and up to 600 participants. From one-day field trips to overnight and week-long stays, Silver Bay hosts a variety of programs to meet the goals of your group.

Accommodations There’s nothing quite like getting a good night’s sleep on a retreat to help you enjoy your time. That’s why Silver Bay offers plenty of options to match your group’s size and needs from dorm style lodging, hotel style rooms, private bathrooms, shared bathrooms and ADA compliant rooms. Silver Bay offers the most cost effective rates for any budget. Bayview Lodge, named for its beautiful views of Silver Bay, can accommodate up to 99 guests. Each room has a private bathroom and a variety of single and double beds accommodating up to five people per room. The Inn is the historic centerpiece of Silver Bay’s campus.

It offers both shared and private bathroom options.

The rooms have a variety of single and double beds allowing anywhere from 2 – 6 people in each room.

The Inn has 97 rooms in total and can hold a maximum of 283 people.

Buffet Style Dining At Silver Bay we take our guests nutrition seriously.

Fresh fruit daily, salad bar options at lunch and dinner, and wholesome meals are prepared three times daily. Our dining hall is centrally located in the new William Boyd Center. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style and are included in our perperson-per-night rates. Ingredient lists are posted at every meal, if you have any allergies or other dietary needs within your group; you can report them to our conference team prior to arrival. We will do our best to accommodate those requests and our staff will indicate the items on the buffet line that are suitable for you, and provide a substitute entrée if necessary.

Meeting Spaces Silver Bay has plenty of stunning locations and as a youth group, we are proud to offer complimentary rental of any meeting space! Our historic 700-seat Auditorium was built in 1909, and is a great choice for keynote speakers and performances. Don’t forget to check out our Luther D. Wishard Conference room in the brand new William Boyd Center; amenities include seating for up to 300 people, state-of-the-art technology, a lovely gas fireplace, and air conditioning.

There are an additional 4 large meeting spaces from which to choose, and 7 smaller breakout spaces like our incredibly popular Boathouse that sits right over the lake!
