Nestled in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York, Silver Bay YMCA is a desired location amongst families looking to reconnect with loved ones in a serene environment. Silver Bay is an all-inclusive, year round resort with beautiful historic elegance that sits on 700-acres of property with one-mile of developed shoreline. We offer a variety of accommodations and summer programming that all of the family can get involved in for a memorable time! We aim to make sure that we are providing a safe and wholesome setting for the entire family to get out and enjoy the great outdoors!

Accommodations Silver Bay’s campus sits on 100 acres that overlooks Lake George’s silver shimmering surface, the namesake for Silver Bay. We offer over thirty different types of accommodations that range from small cottages to luxury style hotel rooms. Paine Hall, which can fit up to 52 people, was originally owned by Silas and Mary Paine as their family summer home. By 1902 the Paine Family along with Luther Wishard had founded Silver Bay YMCA and today, twenty-nine of the property’s fifty-two buildings are listed on the National Historic Places registry. The Inn, which continues to be a popular accommodation and central meeting location for generations, hosts seventy-one private bath accommodations and twenty-six shared bath and can hold between two to six people per room. Our new William Boyd Center was completed in August of 2018 which includes luxury style accommodations, a dining room that can fit up to 500 people and a large conference center as well! Whether you and your family are looking to lodge together or be separate but close, our staff is committed to finding the best accommodations to fit your family’s needs.

Summer Programming & Activities As our on-campus guest, you will have unlimited access to the programs and activities that make Silver Bay fun for family members of all ages! Our goal is to help all of our guests feel renewed, refreshed and inspired and what better way than getting involved with your loved ones with our over 25 programs and activities! Whether you choose to relax at one of our two beaches for the day, try your aim at archery, hiking to reach beautiful views or maybe even kayaking, there is something to do around every corner! We can offer your family exclusive and premium activities including campfires, guided hikes, boat tours on the Silver Spirit, catered functions and so much more!
