What began as the dream of a florist’s son has grown into a globally recognised brand. When founder Patrick Oude Groeniger faced an unexpected turning point that kept him from working with fresh flowers, he chose a different path, reimagining their beauty through luxurious faux botanicals. A seed was planted for what Silk-ka is today.

Before the spotlight hits the stage, there’s the quiet hum of creation. For Chapter One 2026, our brochure became a production, a botanical theatre. We cast professional dancers as our muses, bringing classic and contemporary grace to each scene.

A real pool of water set the tone for the first story, shimmering beneath their movements. The location? An old sugar factory full of raw charm and very little natural light. Luckily, our lighting expert was there to turn shadows into sunlight.
Add a top tier photographer, videographer, fashion stylist, hair & make-up artist, and of course, the creative team of Silkka, and you’ve got a full orchestra behind every image. From climbing staircases to chasing the perfect shot, we certainly got our cardio in…
But what emerged is a launch that feels like a stunning première, the first Chapter for 2026, an elegant pas de deux with nature, captured in flowing images. Here’s your exclusive peek behind the curtain. Enjoy!
Curious about how our products come to life?
A cherished bloom reimagined, the Geranium or Pelargonium, if you please, makes a striking return in four rich, expressive tones: creamy whites, velvety purples, and sumptuous aubergines. These aren’t your grandmother’s window-box darlings. No, Silk-ka’s interpretation is sculptural, refined, and endlessly versatile.
In the first collection story, our Geraniums took centre stage, solo in sculptural silence, or gathered in rhythmic clusters like a botanical ballet. Whether dancing alone or in chorus, their lush foliage and shapely blooms bring harmony to every composition.
We’ve placed them in modern terracotta pots, letting warm earth tones ground their lush elegance with a contemporary twist. The result is a visual duet, natural yet curated, timeless yet trend-forward.
Each stem captures a painterly balance of form and fullness, lending itself to both serene minimalism and bold maximalist displays. Whispering of Mediterranean courtyards and long summer evenings, the Geranium isn’t just a flower. it’s a statement of style, a bloom that bridges past and present with effortless elegance!

The natural world is our heart and foundation. With every shift of the seasons, every gentle breeze, drop of falling rain or ray of sunlight, we’re reminded of its silent power and graceful simplicity. Combined with the four elements, water, air, fire and earth it brings us back to the essence.
That essence, calm, authentic, and ever-flowing, inspires our Silk-ka collections. The rhythm of nature is visible in every flower, leaf and branch. Movement is part of it all: sometimes still, sometimes free and sometimes in a double harmony.
A quiet pas de deux. Our dance for two symbolizes the intricate flow between us and nature. A continuous, graceful interplay where each influences and responds to the other. Our faux botanicals follow that same flow. They bend, twist, and reach, shaped entirely by you. Nature sets the tone; you bring it to life.
