SIKA BEAT
MD ADDRESS
SIKA BEAT APRIL 2024
As we gather for our morning meetings and commence various structured gatherings, I want to reiterate the paramount importance of Health & Safety. While commendable progress has been made in this area, there’s always room for enhancement. Let’s persist in reminding and supporting each other to prioritize safety at all times.
On a brighter note, I’m thrilled to share the exciting news that Christoph Ganz, the President of our region, introduced the slogan “Go after the money,” which we have enthusiastically embraced. This initiative has led to remarkable achievements. Following our remarkable double-digit growth in 2023 compared to 2022, February marked the highest sales month in our company’s history. The first-quarter results have surpassed expectations. Despite facing challenges such as a lack of infrastructure spending and substantial projects, we’ve adeptly capitalized on available opportunities, yielding impressive results.
Recently, I had the privilege of attending our GMM meeting in Munich, where the atmosphere was brimming with positivity. I proudly presented our outstanding results alongside the accomplishments of our group.
The integration between our two companies continues to progress exceptionally well, yielding new synergies and unveiling larger opportunities. After years of concerted effort across various departments, including Sales, Technical, and R&D, our Wind Farm business is finally taking flight. This success underscores our knack for identifying opportunities, securing exclusive supplies, and maintaining a competitive edge.

As we navigate the uncertainties surrounding the upcoming elections at the end of May, it’s imperative that we remain resilient and supportive of one another. While challenges may surface, I’m confident that together, we will surmount them and continue to realize our objectives.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for your unwavering dedication and hard work. Let’s maintain our positivity and focus as we forge ahead.
Njengoba sihlangene ukuqalisa umhlangano wasekuseni, ngifisa ukudlulisa ukubaluleka kwe Health & Safety. Nakuba kunokuhamba kahle kakhulu kwezinto kuloluhlelo, sisengakwazi ukwenza okwengeziwe. Masiqhubeke sikhumbuzana futhi sesekana ukuze ukuphepha kuze kuqala ngaso sonke isikhathi.
