As we step into a new season, I acknowledge the challenges we’ve faced and the resilience we’ve shown. The recent election results, along with rising layoffs, the dismantling of DEI initia and economic uncertainty, have tested our strength. For Black women who have long fought for progress, equity, and financial stability, these setbacks can feel disheartening. But they will not define us We are resilient, brilliant, and unstoppable, standing firm on the cornerstone of our legacy of transformative service and incredible sisterhood.
Fear may try to paralyze us, but we must choose to move forward in love Fear tells us to shrink, to remain silent, to accept less than we deserve But the love of serving our communities emboldens us
In these times, it’s natural to feel frustration and exhaustion. Yet, we press forward, leaning on faith, unity, and our unwavering commitment of Service to All Mankind. When we uplift each other, we strengthen our communities
Through mentorship, advocacy, and economic empowerment, we harness our collective power to create lasting change. The challenges ahead remind us that our work is far from over, but we are built for this fight
We are the South Atlantic Region and our calling card continues to be extraordinary sorors serving significantly
Sorors, this is your call to action. TU.N.E in with the Significant South Atlantic Region as we continue to soar and serve I look forward to gathering at our upcoming 72nd South Atlantic Regional Conference, where we will reconnect, celebrate chapter achievements, learn, and reaffirm our purpose Together, we will continue the work of our founders who came before us, ensuring that future generations soar even higher.
