Hublot’s new Big Bang Unico captures the spirit of the summer sky with its new ceramic hue

Hublot captures the light, playful spirit of the summer sky with the new Big Bang Unico Sky Blue. This 200-piece limited-edition watch’s 42mm case is constructed in ceramic, and comes with colour-matching straps.

In 2019, Hublot introduced brightly coloured ceramic as a material for watchmaking. Since then, the brand has presented a watch in numerous colours. The Big Bang Unico Sky Blue presents this ceramic in the world’s most widely loved hue.

Produced using the brand’s unique processes, this exclusive, high-tech material is hypoallergenic and adapts to the temperature of the skin. Lightweight and ultra-resistant to oxidation and scratching, it is the ideal material for outdoor summer activities.

The dial, like a cloudless sky, reveals the column wheel of the HUB1280 manufacture calibre, a self-winding chronograph movement with a 72-hour power reserve. As its Unico manufacture movement gently tracks the easy passage of time, the Big Bang Unico Sky Blue evokes a sense of calm and timelessness.

The white luminescent hands and indices, appear suspended. The brand’s six iconic screws stand out against the blue of the bezel, which is also made from polished and satin-finished ceramic. This watch comes with a Velcro strap with sports fastener, as well as its iconic lined natural rubber version with a titanium deployant buckle.
