The Maxwell’s wanted a home that could evolve with their family and lifestyle.
A highly livable home sums up the Maxwell plan, which can be easily extended as their family grows. Featuring an open plan living, high-pitched ceilings and multiple access points to the outdoors, a must-have for this lifestyle home.
The Pavilion style home embraces nature and the great outdoors. To achieve the look of being on with nature, the Maxwell’s opted with striking dark brick as their material of choice for most of the exterior, with contrasting vertical shiplap cedar to the gabled ends of the house, entrance, and covered areas.
The natural wood elements encompass the homes natural environment and surroundings in Matangi, while adding a sense of warmth to the home. The designs use of mixed materials adds texture and character to the home, while incorporating the intricacies of nature.
Inside, the Maxwell’s worked with their Signature Homes Interior Designer and Colour Consultant, to come up with a colour scheme that complements the natural environment using a colour palette that combines cool whites and dark colours in the kitchen.
