All of our magazines have broken new ground in some way or another, but none more so than this issue. For our first Balkans edition, and for the first time in SiGMA history, our two oldest brands - AIBC and SiGMA - have come together for a special one-off hybrid issue, ambitiously pulling all the best from the world of emerging tech, gaming and affiliation.
This edition will also see our cover break with tradition in favour of an illustrated design supporting our upcoming affiliate campaignThe 300 Spartans. Read more about how we’re flying 300 top tier affiliates over for an all-inclusive trip just in time for Malta Week in our 8-page feature starting on page 50.
New to these pages is an introduction to our documentary series - our first 2 episodes take an in-depth look at web3 and esports, while on page 38 we examine Dubai’s forward-looking plans for 2023, which is also when we’ll be back to host the 3rd edition of SiGMA Dubai.
All this said, there are some thanks to be given and some goodbyes to be said. This will be the last edition for our Content Research Lead, Kyle. His passion for the emerging technologies has contributed to some of our most thought-provoking features, offering a fresh perspective on the topics defining our times. We wish him a successful future as he embarks on the next step in his career. Thanks as always go to Eman for moving us onwards and upwards to greater heights. And last but not least, gratitude is always due to the editorial team - their efforts a testament to the magazine’s continued success.
