“The Paper With A Hometown Flavor” Being Happy

“Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect. It means you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.” “Being happy means accepting where you are in life and making the most of everyday.” “Being happy begins with a grateful heart every morning.” “Being happy includes the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.” “Being happy does not necessarily include babies, puppies, and kitties, but they sure are around a lot when people are smiling, laughing, and acting happy.” “Being happy often involves humor, joking, and a little bit of being crazy. It’s okay, let your crazy out from time to time!” “Being happy doesn’t mean HAVING the best of everything, it just means MAKING the best of everything.” “Being happy means finding 1000 reasons to smile when life gives you 100 reasons to cry.” “Being happy means extracting your happiness from all the little things in life, instead of missing them in pursuit of the unreachable.” “Being happy is a choice. You cannot control your family, your friends, your health, or your circumstances. But how you react to life IS within your control.” ALPINE TREE SERVICE - TRIMMING, REMOVAL, grinding and lot clearing, no job too small, Licensed, Insured and over 35 years experience (775)721-2880 WE ARE CONSTRUCTION BOOKKEEPING SPECIALISTS – Serving both general and specialty contractors with 30+ years of bookkeeping, payroll and tax experience. Quarantine-O-Ween, Trunk-or-Treat

Trunk-or-treating is one of the trends buzzing this year in terms of socially distant trick-or-treat substitutes. An organized event usually held in a school or church parking lot, trunk-or-treating entails decorated vehicles, and kids go trick-or-treating from car to car. You can host this in your neighborhood, too, with neighbors setting up trunk displays in the driveway and passing out candy. Note: Consider having designated adults (who commit to applying hand sanitizer) give out the candy rather than encourage lots of little hands to reach inside the bowl. CUSTOM SHIRTS, JACKETS, HATS, BAGS for your corporate event, fundraiser, family gathering, promotional event, etc. All sizes and varieties are available. Men & Women Compared!

Nicknames: If Laura, Suzanne, Debra and Rose go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Suzanne, Debra and Rose. But if Mike, Charlie, Bob and John go out for a beer, they will affectionately refer to each other as LardAss, ButtBreath, Peanut-Head and Useless. Eating Out: When the bill arrives, Mike, Charlie, Bob and John will each throw in $20, even though it’s only for $22.50. None of them will have anything smaller, and none will actually admit they want change back. When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators. Bathrooms: A man has five items in his bathroom: a toothbrush, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel from the Holiday Inn. The average number of items in the typical woman’s bathroom is 337. A man would not be able to identify most of these items. ARGUMENTS: A woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument! Dressing Up: A man will dress up for weddings, funerals. A woman will dress up to go shopping, water the plants, empty the garbage, answer the phone, read a book, get the mail. Looks: Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed. Women somehow deteriorate during the night. (I invite any woman to prove me wrong!)

Who needs Instructions

The proud father brought home a backyard swing set for his children and immediately started to assemble it with all the neighborhood children anxiously waiting to play on it. After several hours of reading the directions, attempting to fit bolt A into slot B, etc., he finally gave up and called upon an old handyman working in a neighboring yard. The old-timer came over, threw the directions away and in a short while had the set completely assembled. “It’s beyond me,” said the father, “how you got it together without even reading instructions.” “To tell the truth,” replied the old-timer, “I can’t read and when you can’t read, you’ve got to think.” “Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go.” (unknown)

October 12th - Columbus Day 6

Why God? Why? Grief stricken, Sally asked, “Why do little children get cancer? How can their story end there? Doesn’t God care anymore? God, where were you when my son needed you?” The Surgeon said, “One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes to let you spend time with your son’s remains before it is transported to the University.” Sally asked that the nurse stay with her while she said good-bye to her son. She ran her fingers through the thick, red, curly hair. The nurse asked , “Would you like to keep a lock of his hair,” to which Sally replied, “Yes, please.” The nurse gently cut the lock of hair, placed it in a plastic bag, and handed it to Sally. Sally said, “It was Jimmy’s idea to give his body to the university for study. He said it might help somebody else and that is what he wanted. I said no at first, but Jimmy said, ‘Mom, I won’t be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his mother.’ My Jimmy had a heart of gold, always thinking about someone else and wanting to help others if he could.” Sally walked out of the Children’s Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last 6 months there. She set the bag with Jimmy’s things on the seat beside her in the car. The drive home was hard and it was even harder to go into an empty house. She took the bag to Jimmy’s room and started placing his model cars and things back where he always kept them when he wasn’t playing with them. She laid down across his bed and cried herself to sleep holding his pillow. Sally woke up about midnight and laying beside of her on the bed was a letter, folded neatly, She opened it and read: “Dear Mom, I know you’re going to miss me, but don’t think that I will ever forget you or stop loving you just because I’m not around to say ‘I Love You.’ I’ll think of you every day, Mom, and I’ll love you even more each day. Some day we will see each other again. If you want to adopt a little boy so you won’t be so lonely, he can have my room and my stuff to play with. If you decide to get a girl instead, she probably won’t like the same things as boys do, so you will have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like. Don’t be sad when you think about me. This is really a great place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything here. The angels are so friendly. I love to watch them fly. Jesus doesn’t look like any of the pictures I have seen of him down there ... He took me to see God, and guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God’s knee and talk to Him like I was somebody important. I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter and tell you good-bye and everything, but knew that wasn’t allowed. God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter with. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel that is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked

about where was He when I needed Him. God said - the same place He was when Jesus was on the cross which was right there as He always is with His children. Oh, by the way, Mom, nobody else can see what is written on this paper but you. To everyone else it looks like a blank piece of paper. I have to give God His pen back now. He has some more names to write in The Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I’m sure the food will be great. I almost forgot to let you know that now I don’t hurt anymore. The cancer is gone. I’m glad because I couldn’t stand that pain anymore and God couldn’t stand to see me suffer the pain either, so He sent the Angel of Mercy to get me. The Angel said I was Special Delivery! Signed with love from God, Jesus and Me.”

Fourth Marriage

An eighty year old woman was getting married for the fourth time. A newspaper was interviewing her about her previous marriages. She said she got married the first time when she was twenty to a banker. Then, in her forties she married a three ring circus leader. Then she married a preacher. And now she’s marring a funeral home director. The lady replied, when I look back at my previous marriages, I see one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, and four to go. My skydiving instructor would always take the time to answer any of our stupid first - timer questions. Aging Agonizers Anonymous?

I’m out here on the patio, waiting for supper to heat up, enjoying the birds and the clouds and the beautiful blue sky … and pondering ... should I start a new support group called AAA? ... Aging Agonizers Anonymous? We are those whose bodies and minds are giving us a failure surprise every day or so, and our get-up-&-go has fallen and can’t get up. We were vibrant and mobile and living life to the fullest just day-before-yesterday it seems … and now all of a sudden … we barely have the strength to turn the can opener or the vitamin bottle cap. Is this one of those “this, too, shall pass” moments that we must go through and then come out stronger on the other side? Or is it the beginning of something new … that we must accept and learn to live with, resigned to the “new normal” of the old and infirm? Shall we begin searching for facilities where we have no responsibilities to deal with, but only to hope we enjoy the company of like-minded AAA members with whom to sit and compare pain levels, sleepless nights, medications, surgeries and getting our affairs in order? Am I there? Oh PUH-LEEZE .. not YET!! All I know is … something is changing lately … and I’m getting fragile more quickly than I used to, less able to tolerate and deal with everyday stuff like fixing things that break, and less patient with noisy neighbors and loud, busy traffic and the basic duties of life like getting out the front door to drive, get groceries, do errands ... and even sometimes would

rather be boring myself alone than making the effort to visit and travel and do all the pleasures I used to enjoy. Oh, say it ain’t sooo!! But wait ... maybe someone at the next meeting will have an encouraging word or the answer I so direly need. Maybe someone will have been where I am and can assure me this will pass. Oh AAA … we do need you. The only requirement for admission would be to REMEMBER that there IS a meeting and where it is … and not to FORGET your sense of humor!! GENEALOGY - THOROUGH RESEARCH OF FAMILY histories. A unique gift for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays or yourself! www.PersonalPedigree. com or Lisa (775)450-3175 $69 SERVICE CALL, ACADEMY APPLIANCE Service; washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, compactors, some areas extra charge, Serving Carson Valley (775)781-4725 MOORE BRIDGEPORT RENTALS - FULLY FURNISHED Apartments, Year round accommodations, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen, sleep up to 6, Wifi/Cable; 1.3 miles from Reservoir, Daily/Weekly/Monthly (760)9327600

“The Paper With A Hometown Flavor” Rotary Club of Smith Valley Fun Days Event CANCELLED

Dear Rotary Supporters, It is with great regret that I am announcing the cancelation of our Fun Day’s events scheduled for October 3rd and 4th. This is a COVID 19 related issue. Many months of planning to make this a safe event working with our Club Members and the board of health was nullified by circumstances beyond our control and after much discussion within our membership we came to the difficult conclusion that attempting to carry this forward was not a realistic option. As with all charitable organizations, our events enable our programs to go forward. Though this is the 3rd major fund raiser to be canceled this year we will continue to move forward to support the people, and especially the youth of Smith Valley but we will need your help. Our club is doing its best to come up with new and inventive events and projects to help fill in the void left by our fund raisers, but we are also asking for any support that the community would be able to offer. These are trying times for us all. We thank you for any support you may provide us. Sincerely, Doug Williamson/ President, Rotary Club of Smith Valley

Words to Live By

Anger is a condition in which the tongue works faster than the mind. You can’t change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying over the future. Love ...... and you shall be loved. God always gives His best to those who leave the choice with Him. All people smile in the same language. A hug is a great gift ... one size fits all. It can be given for any occasion and it’s easy to exchange. Everyone needs to be loved ... especially when they do not deserve it. MARCIA’S DOG WALKING SERVICE. Elderly man thinks fast

An elderly farmer in Florida had a large pond down by his fruit orchard. One evening he decided to go down to the pond and took a five gallon bucket to pick some fruit. As he neared the pond, he heard female voices shouting and laughing with glee. As he came closer he saw a bunch of young women skinny-dipping in the pond. He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end. One of the women shouted to him, ‘We’re not coming out until you leave!’ The old man thought for a second and said, ‘I didn’t come down here to watch you ladies swim or to make you get out of the pond naked.’ Holding the bucket up he said, ‘I’m here to feed the alligator!’ Moral: Old men can still think fast.

“The Paper With A Hometown Flavor” God’s First Name

This guy dies and goes to heaven. When he gets there, St. Peter is standing at the gate. He says, “If you can answer these three questions I will let you in to heaven. First, how many seconds are in a year? Second, how many days of the week have a ‘T’ in them? Third, what is God’s first name? You have until tomorrow to answer these questions.” The guy comes back the next day, St. Peter asks the first question and the guy says, “Twelve.” “Twelve?” says St. Peter, “how did you get that?” The man replied, “January 2nd, February 2nd and so on.” Peter thinks it over and says, “Well that is not exactly what I meant, but it’s technically correct, so I will give you credit.” Then St. Peter asks the second question and the guy answers, “Two.” St. Peter asks how he got that answer and the man explains, “Today and Tomorrow.” St. Peter again admits that wasn’t what he had in mind, but he’ll accept that. Peter then asked the third question; God’s first name. The man says, “Howard. “ St. Peter, really perplexed, inquires how the guy got that and the man says, “You know, it’s in the prayer: ‘Our Father who art in heaven, Howard be thy name...?” WW2 REPLICA NON-FIRING BROWNING HIGH power pistol, cocking action $75; P38 pistol, cocking action $75; PPK pistol, cocking action $75; Crossman dual ammo metal revolver with 12 cartridges $65; Crossman pump pistol 22 caliber $45; Crossman C02 pellet pistol 22 caliber $45, all are new (775)223-1658 YARD ENHANCEMENT SERVICES, handyman, fence repair/rebuild, tree and brush trim/removal, defensible space improvement, hauling, dump runs, Douglas County, Kelly (209)352-0084

Why Vote?

One good reason is because YOU/WE owe it to America’s heroes (past and present) Countless Americans have sacrificed their lives or suffered extreme hardship in order to secure your right to vote. That includes military service members, women suffragettes, minority groups, and many others at home and abroad who have fought for liberty and civil rights. Human Reproduction

At a Texas University, a Professor had been teaching his students human reproduction. For an exam, one of the questions was: “Female humans are born with a limited number of eggs, while males, during their lifetime, produce millions upon millions of sperm. Why are so many sperm produced?” One young woman’s answer: “Because they won’t ask for directions either.” PAINTER, SEMI-RETIRED WITH 40 YEARS experience in Nevada, Save Money, Get Seasonal Discount Now, inside or out, Fences (775)901-1912

My family doesn’t own a camera anymore. My daughter takes all of our pictures with her smart phone. Knowing that her Dad is still “old school” she will from time to time run off prints of these pictures and let my son put them in an old fashioned photo album. They made me one just the other day. As I was looking through it, however, I noticed something. Far outnumbering the pictures of me, my daughter, my sons, and our extended family were the pictures of our dogs. It seemed like almost every page was full of happy, furry faces. It made my heart smile as I flipped through them. It made me glad to know that I have lived most of my life in the company of dogs. What is it about dogs? We allow them on our couches and even in our beds. We clean up after them when we take them for walks. We vacuum up their fur. We wipe off their drool. We tolerate their bad breath. We pay vet bills and buy new shoes when they chew up our old ones. We enjoy their slurps and snuggles. We feed them our food when they don’t want to eat theirs. We talk to them and hug them and confide in them. We welcome them into our homes and into our hearts. Why do we love them so? Maybe it is because they love us so. Their love and loyalty are unconditional. They accept us as we are and want to spend all of their days with us. They cry and howl when we leave home and jump for joy when we return. They shower us with love, attention, and affection whether we deserve it or not. They make us want to be the people they already think we are. They are and forever will be a glorious gift from our Heavenly Father. May we always cherish them and embrace the lessons they teach. May we all learn to love as freely and unconditionally. May we all make our lives a gift of joy just as they do. Better than biscuits

A while back I read a story of a visiting pastor who attended a men’s breakfast in the middle of a rural farming area of the country. The group had asked an older farmer, decked out in bib overalls, to say grace for the morning breakfast. “Lord, I hate buttermilk,” the farmer began. The visiting pastor opened one eye to glance at the farmer and wonder where this was going. The farmer loudly proclaimed, “Lord, I hate lard.” Now the pastor was growing concerned. Without missing a beat, the farmer continued, “And Lord, you know I don’t much care for raw white flour.” The pastor once again opened an eye to glance around the room and saw that he wasn’t the only one beginning to feel uncomfortable. Then the farmer added, “But Lord, when you mix them all together and bake them, I do love warm fresh biscuits.” “So, Lord, when things come up that we don’t like, when life gets hard, when we don’t understand what you’re saying to us, help us to just relax and wait until you are done mixing. It will probably be even better than biscuits.” AMEN Within that prayer there is great wisdom for all when it comes to complicated situations like we are experiencing in the world today. Stay strong, my friends, something even better is going to come.

“The Paper With A Hometown Flavor” Nose Picking Glossary

The strange Christmas scene

In a small southern town there was a “Nativity Scene” that showed great skill and talent had gone into creating it. One small feature bothered me. The three wise men were wearing firemen’s helmets. Totally unable to come up with a reason or explanation, I left. At a “Quik Stop” on the edge of town, I asked the lady behind the counter about the helmets. She exploded into a rage, yelling at me, “You dumb Yankees never do read the Bible!” I assured her that I did, but simply couldn’t recall anything about firemen in the Bible. She jerked her Bible from behind the counter and ruffled through some pages, and finally jabbed her finger at a passage. Sticking it in my face she said “See, it says right here, ‘The three wise man came from afar.” LAWN CARE SERVICE! (for the guys) THE KIDDIE PICK... When you’re by yourself and you uninhibitedly twist your forefinger into your nostril with childlike joy and freedom. And the best part is, there’s no time limit! CAMOUFLAGED KIDDIE PICK... When, in the presence of other people, you wrap your forefinger in a tissue, then thrust it in deep and hold back the smile. FAKE NOSE SCRATCH... When you make believe you’ve got an itch but you’re really trolling the nostril edge for stray boogers. MAKING A MEAL OUT OF IT... You do it so furiously, and for so long, you’re probably entitled to dessert. SURPRISE PICKINGS... When a sneeze or laugh causes snot to come hurtling out of your nose, and you have to gracefully clean it off your shirt. AUTO PICK... The kind you do in a car, when no one’s looking. PICK YOUR BRAINS... Done in private, this is the one where your finger goes in so far, it passes the septum. PICK AND SAVE... When you have to pick it quickly, just when someone looks away, and then you pocket the snot so they don’t catch on to what you did. PICK AND ROLL... No explanation needed. PICK AND FLICK... Ditto. What’s the matter with you!

A woman in her late thirty’s is at home happily jumping unclothed, on her bed and screaming with delight. Her husband watches her for a while and asks, “Do you have any idea how ridiculous you look? What’s the matter with you?” The woman continues to bounce on the bed and says, “I don’t care what you think. I just came from having a mammogram and the doctor says that not only am I healthy, but I have the breasts of an 18-year-old.” The husband replies, “What did he say about your 42-year old arse?” “Your name never came up,” she replied.

Keep on Smiling

If at times you feel you want to cry and life seems such a trial, above the clouds there’s a bright blue sky, so make your tears a smile. As you travel on life’s way, with its many ups and downs, remember it’s quite true to say, one smile is worth a dozen frowns. Among the world’s expensive things, a smile is very cheap, and when you give a smile away, you get one back to keep. Happiness comes at times to all, but sadness comes unbidden, and sometimes a few tears must fall, among the laughter hidden. So when friends have sadness on their face, and troubles round them piled, the world will seem a better place, and all because you smiled! “Word of the Ritchford Hotel spread around the state, and anyone traveling through the valley wanted to stay there,” noted Scott Schrantz in a 2006 blog, Around Carson. “Even in San Francisco they spoke of its elegance and luxury.” And more improvements were yet to come. In the fall of 1905, Bill Ritchford added an ice house to the hotel and a “rustic front” to his stable. This latter change, the RecordCourier reported approvingly, “greatly add[ed] to [the stable’s] appearance.” Ritchford worked hard to ensure he had a steady stream of patrons. After the V&T opened its Minden depot in 1906, Ritchford would drive his team to meet the train every day and pick up “drummers” (traveling salesmen) who needed a place to spend the night. By 1907, Sanborn insurance maps show another narrow addition had been made to the livery stable, extending the building even farther south. And by 1912, almost the entire southern corner of the property was covered with various extensions to the livery building. Among other amenities for guests, medical help was close at hand for anyone who needed it. As early as 1899, someone was said to be “undergoing treatment at Ritchford’s hotel.” Advertisements from 1908 indicate that Dr. E.H. Hawkins kept both his medical office and his residence in the hotel. Another physican named Dr. Marotz had offices nearby, and “at night can be found at [a] cottage adjoining Ritchford hotel,” noted Marotz’s ad. But at the age of 75, after more than two decades in the hotel business, Bill Ritchford passed away in a tragic accident. It was February of 1922. Despite his advancing years, Ritchford was hauling hay from Minden down to Gardnerville on a sled pulled by a four-horse team. The load of hay slid forward, spooking the horses. Ritchford fell off and was dragged for several hundred feet, and the sled ran over his body, crushing his chest. Ritchford died the following day. Son Bill Ritchford, Jr. carried on the hotel business for the next two years. But soon his mother Anna’s health began to fail. She passed away in August, 1924, and was buried beside her husband Bill in Carson City’s Lone Mountain Cemetery. Bill, Jr. sold the old Ritchford Hotel to the Aja family. It was still quite a place, featuring “stove heat,” electric lights; a parlor, two offices, a soft drink concession, dining room and kitchen. With automobiles now taking the place of horses, the former livery stable was now a paint shop and “temporary fire headquarters.” Today, a portion of the gracious three-story Ritchford Hotel still stands on the west side of Hwy 395, just north of the big yellow house at the “S” bend. The current wooden structure is only two stories tall, though, thanks to a fire that broke out on the third floor in January, 1937. Although the lower floors were saved, the top floor of the hotel was never rebuilt. Next time you pass by, remember the tall water tower that once stood here beside the Ritchford, boosted into place by old-fashioned horse-power. Think of the many smiling guests who crossed its threshold to enjoy Bill’s hospitality and Anna’s home-cooked dinners. And imagine Gardnerv-

“The Paper With A Hometown Flavor” Helping someone with Borderline Personality Disorder

How Do You Get To Heaven?

“If I sold my house and my car, had a big garage sale, and gave all my money to the church, would that get me into heaven?” I asked the children in my Sunday school class. “NO!” the children all answered. “If I cleaned the church every day, mowed the yard, and kept everything neat and tidy, would that get me into heaven?” Again the answer was, “NO!” “Well, then, if I was kind to animals and gave candy to all the children and loved my wife, would that get me into heaven?” I asked them again. Once more they all answered, “NO!” “Well,” I continued, thinking they were a good bit more theologically sophisticated than I had given them credit for, “then how can I get into heaven?” A five-year-old boy shouted out, “You gotta be dead!” MOUNTAIN DESERT BUILDERS: SPECIALIZING in remodels, one room to the entire home, including decks, windows, doors, siding and trim, Lic.#83159, Call Eamonn (775)781-4753 My parents spanked me as a child. Have a loved one who suffers from BPD? While you can’t force them to seek treatment, you can take steps to improve communication, set healthy boundaries, and stabilize your relationship. People with borderline personality disorder (BPD) tend to have major difficulties with relationships, especially with those closest to them. Their wild mood swings, angry outbursts, chronic abandonment fears, and impulsive and irrational behaviors can leave loved ones feeling helpless, abused, and off balance. Partners and family members of people with BPD often describe the relationship as an emotional roller coaster with no end in sight. You may feel like you’re at the mercy of your loved one’s BPD symptoms—trapped unless you leave the relationship or the person takes steps to get treatment. But you have more power than you think. You can change the relationship by managing your own reactions, establishing firm limits, and improving communication between you and your loved one. There’s no magic cure but with the right treatment and support, many people with BPD can and do get better and their relationships can become more stable and rewarding. In fact, patients with the most support and stability at home tend to show improvements sooner than those whose relationships are more chaotic and insecure. Whether it’s your partner, parent, child, sibling, friend, or other loved one with BPD, you can improve both the relationship and your own quality of life, even if the person with BPD isn’t ready to acknowledge the problem or seek treatment. Learning all you can - If your loved one has borderline personality disorder, it’s important to recognize that he or she is suffering. The destructive and hurtful behaviors are a reaction to deep emotional pain. In other words, they’re not about you. When your loved one does or says something hurtful towards you, understand that the behavior is motivated by the desire to stop the pain they are experiencing; it’s rarely deliberate. Learning about BPD won’t automatically solve your relationship problems, but it will help you understand what you’re dealing with and handle difficulties in more constructive ways. Grandma Jones...

Grandma Jones from the valley had never experienced a sick day in her life, so she didn’t take it kindly when a bad case of the mulligrubs sent her to the hospital for observation. By the time a pair of husky interns got Grandma tucked into bed, she had managed to complain about everything: the temperature, the lights, the skimpy gown, the food and the mattress - especially, the mattress.. Suddenly, Grandma spotted a small plastic item with a button, attached to a cord. “What’s that?” she demanded with great suspicion, suspecting it might be one of those high tech items the city folks talked about. “If you need anything in the middle of the night, Grandma,” said one of the interns, “just press that button.” “What does it do, ring a bell?” she asked. “No, it turns on a light in the hall for the nurse on duty,” the intern replied. “A light in the hall?” responded Grandma. “Look, I’m the sick one around here. If the night nurse needs a light on in the hall, she can get up and switch it on herself.”

Starting that Diet

My friend Kimberly announced that she had started a diet to lose some pounds she had put on recently. “Good!” I exclaimed. “I’m ready to start a diet too. We can be dieting buddies and help each other out. When I feel the urge to drive out and get a burger and fries, I’ll call you first.” “Great!” she replied. “I’ll ride with you.” ACME BOAT & RV STORAGE – RESIDENT MANAGER, fenced, lighted, lowest rates around, Gardnerville (775)265-4766
