Just press play!
Sometimes I find myself just staring into space, no sounds and no movement, just another place. Deep in thought and wonder, where time stands still awhile, replaying memories in my mind, my face becomes a smile. My memories are my escape, they will stay with me forever, I know that at any time, I can play a time together. I can choose a special moment or a very special day, like a movie in my head, in my mind I just press play. You are never far away, (you are always with me) I know you are with me, and I know you sit and watch when I replay a memory.

When you think about children of the toddler age, or are blessed to experience them yourself, you come to a realization that they are always on the move, never wanting to stop. They go through each day with more enthusiasm than a grown up can ever imagine and never tire. They coast through their early years often with no real trouble and usually with a smile on their faces. Children seem to have something about them that we as grownups lost somewhere along the line. They have the ability to forgive quickly, not really worry about things and get frustrated over things, and just enjoy the simple things in life, while never taking them for granted. They never hold grudges and never hold resentments against someone, and if for some strange reason they do, they are playing and interacting with them the next day on the playground. I had experiences with my two daughters when I walked in their room and they were in their cribs. They would jump up and down, screaming with happiness and great big smiles on their faces. I often wondered what they were smiling and happy about. Was it their birthday? Was it Christmas? Were we leaving on vacation to Disneyland? The answer to those questions is No... It was not their birthday, nor was it Christmas and we were not going to Disney... They were just excited about the dawning of a new day. They are happy to embrace a new day and cannot wait to start it! That is where I started to think... I thought to myself... Why can’t adults behave like this? When did we lose this zest for life? Can we get it back and keep it? Too many times as adults, we forget how to live our lives happily and the days seem to slip on by. Sometimes people tend to mope around, sadly to say, over a variety of things that are out of their control like the weather, or something that happened to them in the past, or even something as silly as someone talking about them at the water cooler. Sometimes, people live not just one day like this, but many. They do not know that they cannot get that day or days back... Ever! They repeatedly sob and sulk and in the interim, try to bring others to their level. We are not on this earth to be miserable. We are on it for reasons: To take each day and make the best out of it. To face new challenges and grow from them. To spill over our joy and happiness in the event that someone else will be infected by it. We and our emotions are contagious to the people that surround us, be it strangers or loved ones. Like the children that are on this planet, we need to seize the day. We are not on this earth for infinity, but only for a short time. Today, go back to when you were a child and live without the troublesome melancholy that can seem to swallow you up at times. When you wake in the morning, don’t be grumpy and sad because it is too early. Spring out of that bed and hit the floor running like the children do. Make your whole day a game of sorts, and when tomorrow comes, play it again but this time, do it better. Life comes at you very fast and when it does, you have to be ready. Before you know it, your children will have children and your time on this earth will be coming to an end. I do not know about you, but I always want to have the mental freedom of a child and will play this game of life daily. I will reflect back on my losses and not fret about them, but seek the knowledge I need so it never happens again. What can I say? I do not want to grow up.

A Hospice Visit by Santa Claus
A friend of mine named John approached me and said his aunt was in a hospice facility in and would I consider visiting not only his aunt but the other hospice patients as well. I told him to simply tell me the date and the time. On the appointed date and at the appointed time, I showed up at the hospice facility in my finest Santa Claus suit which, in the business, we know as the sleigh driver outfit. The red Santa Claus suit was an invention by the Coca Cola Company in 1935 where they introduced a painting on a drink tray of old Saint Nick in a red suit in a sleigh. That’s how Santa Claus got dressed up in red! At the facility, I was greeted by John; the administrator of the facility; and a number of staff members each with a cart containing Poinsettias. I was told that as I visited each room, I would leave a beautiful Poinsettias as a gift. The patients were wonderful and receptive to my visits. They loved having the Poinsettias in their room. John’s aunt was likewise not only happy to see me but more importantly, happy to see her doting nephew. A few rooms beyond John’s aunt was a lady laying in bed. She was quite ill and there wasn’t much the medical staff could do for her except reduce her pain. When she saw me, she said, “Santa, you look just the way you did when I was six years old. Are you wearing the same suit?” I said I was. She added that when she was six, she gave me a big hug and asked if she could hug me here and now. I said of course and leaned over the bed. She wrapped her arms around me and said, “You even smell the way you did when I was six”. I took that to mean Santa Claus so many years ago was freshly showered and dressed and that his
suit was clean. “You always brought me such nice gifts” and she hugged me even harder. I had to chew on the inside of my cheek to keep from tearing up and at the same time I could hear staff members weeping. It was quite touching. After about an hour and a half at the facility it was time to go home. I was drained. After the Christmas break John came up to me to thank me. He said, “Do you remember the lady who said you looked just like you did when she was six? She passed away two days after your visit”. I have no doubt that God called her back so she would have the opportunity to meet the real Saint Nicholas that I have had the honor to impersonate all these years. Some of you have visited with me at Kid Pix, some at the Senior Center and some at private and corporate parties. I hope to see more of you this year now that we have somewhat of a handle on the pandemic. Santa -TheRealSantaExperience@gmail.com CUJO’S HOG HOUSE! A Case for More Beer
A herd of buffalo can move only as fast as the slowest buffalo, and when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular culling of the weakest members. In much the same way the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills off brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, constantly making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. HOME IN NEED OF IMPROVEMENT? Electronic Sniffing Dogs
Canine Units have been used by the police around the world for over a hundred years. Dog training has come a long way since the 1880s when bloodhounds were used to find Jack the Ripper. In recent years, man’s best friend has been trained to sniff out the smallest of electronics to help the police find evidence of crimes. Dogs that undergo electronic storage detection training can sniff out the chemical compounds found in electronics. Everything from small SDs cards to your cellphones has these chemical compounds. These dogs are trained to detect even the smallest of electronics such as microSD cards. The dogs are able to detect electronics of all shapes and sizes because all electronics have a circuit board. All electronics use a compound called triphenylphosphine oxide (TPPO), which covers the circuit boards in electronics to
prevent overheating. Another common compound is hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone (HPK), which can be found in CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays, and floppy disks. Electronic sniffing dogs are trained to detect these chemical compounds, then alert their handlers to these compounds. Many crimes today have a cyber component to them. Over the last two decades, there has been an evolution in the techniques criminals use to hide evidence. From hollowed-out items to false floor boards, inventive schemes to conceal evidence are constantly used. K-9 electronic storage detection has been effective in finding evidence that criminals are trying to hide in electronic devices.

Texas gun logic
A woman was called in front of a Texas grand jury for possible manslaughter charges after she shot a mugger 6 times in the back as he was running away with her purse. She had her hand on her gun when he grabbed the purse, and she was left with the revolver in her hand. When asked by the grand jury why she shot the man 6 times in the back as he was running away she replied under oath: “Because when I pulled the trigger the 7th time it only went click.” She was acquitted of all charges...... That’s the way it is in Texas!
BISHOP, Calif. – Inyo National Forest, in coordination with the Bureau of Land Management Bishop Field Office, is seeking public input on proposed gathers of wild horses outside the Montgomery Pass Wild Horse Territory in Mono County, California. The proposed gathers would maintain sustainable wild horse herd management levels, protect resources on public and private lands, protect proposed critical habitat for the bi-state distinct population segment of greater sage-grouse, and address public safety concerns for motorists. The Montgomery Pass Wild Horse Territory (Territory) is managed for a wild horse population of between 138 to 230 animals under the 2019 Inyo National Forest Land Management Plan. A 2020 aerial survey of the Territory and surrounding areas counted 654 horses, with most of the horses located outside of the Territory. This is at least triple the appropriate management level, a situation that is unsafe for horses and damaging to public resources and wildlife habitat. The wild horses are now residing 20 miles west of the Territory on the shores of Mono Lake and are a safety concern for motorists traveling on Highway 6 and Highway 120 east. “The BLM is motivated to work with the Inyo National Forest to improve wildlife habitat, increase public safety along roadways, and protect horses and people by reducing the risk of horse collisions with vehicles,” said BLM Bishop Field Manager Sherri Lisius. “As the lead agency, the Inyo National Forest is happy to partner with BLM in managing the Montgomery Pass Wild Horse Territory herd,” said Inyo National Forest Mono Lake District Ranger Stephanie Heller. “The current size and locations of the herd are causing significant resource damage and safety issues.” The Inyo National Forest is the lead agency responsible for managing the Territory, in coordination with the BLM Bishop Field Office, BLM Carson City District, and the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The BLM is the lead agency for preparing the environmental assessment for the gather plan and the Inyo National Forest would be the lead agency for an initial gather. More information about the project can be found online at the BLM National NEPA Register, where comments can be submitted. The 30-day public scoping period is open until Dec. 7. Comments may also be submitted via mail to: 351 Pacu Lane, Bishop, CA 93514, or via email: BLM_CA_Bishop_MPWHT@ blm.gov. Written comments must be postmarked on or before Dec. 7. NEED ENCLOSED STORAGE? 40X8 (320 SQ FT) available for rent (775)265-4766
One of the mysteries of life is that a two pound box of chocolates can make you gain five pounds. The reason women over 50 don’t have babies is because we would put them down and forget where we put them. It’s time to give up jogging for your health when your thighs keep rubbing together and starting your pants on fire. What happens if you confuse your Valium with your birth control pills? You have 12 kids, but you don’t really care. Skinny people bug me. They say things like, “Sometimes I forget to eat.” Now, I’ve forgotten my keys, my glasses, my address and my mother’s maiden name. But I have never forgotten to eat! You have to be a special kind of “duh” to forget to eat! What is the best way to forget your troubles? Wear tight clothes. Why is it harder to lose weight as you get older? Because by that time your body and your fat have become really good friends. My mind doesn’t wander, it leaves completely. What happens when you leave an outfit hanging in your closet for a while? It shrinks two sizes. It’s nice to live in a small town, because if you don’t know what you are doing, someone else does. I read some article which said that the symptoms of stress are impulse buying, eating too much and driving too fast. Are they kidding? That’s what I call a perfect day.

“The Paper With A Hometown Flavor”
The wealthy homeless man
I passed this man a thousand times and a thousand times I felt such guilt, Entering a house with all the trimmings, While he enters the box house he built. A humble man he is, named Steve, Who appears to be midthirty, Who thinks light of his dry blistery skin and his attire that’s filthy and dirty. He’s more concerned about others, Employed by servicing smiles, Walking his beat on his blistery feet, Through city streets for miles. I’ve offered him a dollar or two, Yet he always insists to decline. I’ve handed him fresh clothes to wear, But he always says “I like mine”, Claiming he never takes from others, That he only owns “Giving Hands.” That one shouldn’t judge by appearance, Under his filth, he’s a wealthy young man. “I have no desire for a big ole house, Or those pricey clothes you exhibit, Materials are not as valuable as.. The true essence of how I am living.” “I draw on breathes of appreciation; A pleasure to just be alive. To wake daily and enjoy this world I’m in I never feel starved or deprived.” “I give out all my belongings To anyone in more need than I….Only keeping what I can’t live without, My respect, my dignity and pride” “I still rest in warmth without any heat. Supplied by my righteous young heart. I’m nourished through the good Lord above me who loves me for doing my part.” “So I smile more and I hurt much less, Knowing I am setting an example, To those who fret over material things, And fall short of just being thankful.” “I will propose to you a free token. Words that will bring you delight. Look past one’s external frontage.. Priceless assets are not found in ones sight” “You’ll find houses and condo’s mean nothing, Jewelry, cars and clothes are just a waste, When chosen possession with a heart in mind, You will prefer a more natural taste” You will want what I have, for it is free- No cost to own inner peace. Just own hands that give and take much less, As a person, your value will increase. (S. Little dots of light
I was in my backyard the other night. The evening, Autumn air was blowing. It was fresh, clean and cool without being cold. My dogs were sitting on the freshly fallen leaves and looking up at me, wondering why we hadn’t gone back inside yet. The reason was that I was taking some time to gaze at the stars. The sky was almost completely clear of clouds and the heavens were twinkling. It had been too long since I last looked at the billion stars in the night sky. Those little dots of light felt so warm to my heart and inviting to my soul. They seemed to radiate peace, joy, and Heavenly love to all who watched them. Suddenly, one of the few clouds left in the night sky drifted over the large patch of stars I was pondering upon and they disappeared. I frowned as the sky grew a little darker and finally decided to go inside. As I opened my backdoor I thought of how each one of those little dots of light was special. Each one of them made the night sky a little brighter. Each one of them made the heavens a little more beautiful. I thought too of each of our lives here and how much our light was needed as well. Don’t let the clouds of this world block out your light. Let it shine everyday for God and for yourself. Your light comes from love and love is brighter than a billion galaxies. Let your own love glow from your smile, your laugh, and your life. Let it blaze in your acts of goodness and kindness. Let it be a beacon to help others to share their light as well. Let it be so luminous that the angels sing and God smiles. You may think that you are just a little dot of light in this universe. But without you everything is darker. Share your light always and bring brightness with you wherever you go. (J. Mazzella) WANTED! CLASSIC VEHICLE FOR FATHER/DAUGHTER (Jeff and Tobylee) first project car. Broke student
A college freshman called up his mother and asked her for some money, because he was broke. His mother said, “Sure, sweetie. I will send you some money. You also left your calculus book here when you visited 2 weeks ago. Do you want me to send that up too?” “Uhh, oh yeah, O.K.” responded the student. So his mom wrapped up the book and mailed it. Dad asked, “Well how much did you give him?” “Oh, I wrote 2 checks, one for $20, and the other for $500.” “That’s $520!” said dad, “Are you crazy?” “Don’t worry honey,” mom said. “I taped the $20 check to the cover of his book, but I put the $500 one somewhere in ... chapter 19! Why men wear earrings
A man is at work one day when he notices that his co-worker is wearing an earring. This man knows his co-worker to be a normally conservative fellow, and is curious about his sudden change in “fashion sense.” The man walks up to him and says, “I didn’t know you were into earrings.” “Don’t make such a big deal out of this, it’s only an earring,” he replies sheepishly. His friend falls silent for a few minutes, but then his curiosity prods him to say, “So, how long have you been wearing one?” “Ever since my wife found it in my truck...” HANDYMAN - SMALL CONCRETE WORK, REPAIRS and some overlays, Call Chuck (559)426-9984 FOR SALE: TROY-BILT STORM SNOW BLOWER 2620; 26” clearing width; electric start. Silence
After my husband and I had a huge argument, we ended up not talking to each other for days. Finally, on the third day, he asked where one of his shirts was. “Oh,” I said, “So now you’re speaking to me.” He looked confused, “What are you talking about?” “Haven’t you noticed I haven’t spoken to you for three days?” I challenged. “No,” he said, “I just thought we were getting along.” HELP! Twig Ornaments
This craft comes with an adventure: First, take a foraging walk outside to gather twigs. Then, use glue to create holiday shapes and finish with festive embroidery thread wrapping. Ornaments made from sticks and twigs are fun for kids and adults to make together from start to finish. Invite children outside to go on a nature hunt for thin twigs and sticks that can be used to make Christmas tree twig ornaments. Head out into the park or your local woods in search of small fallen limbs and branches. Sticks and twigs that are approximately 1/8 – 1/4 inch in diameter work great. Another form of “twig” that works perfectly for twig tree crafts is rose stems. Trim the stems of roses into 4 to 5-inch sections, and place them somewhere to dry out before using them to make twig Christmas trees and other crafts. Once they are inflexible and stiff, they are ready to make twig ornaments. Use a pair of pruning shears to trim twigs and sticks into 4 to 5-inch sections to make rustic twig Christmas trees. Watch out for flying twigs! Safety glasses are optional but recommended and you will need a glue gun and twine as well. Make Christmas ornaments in the shape of snowflakes, stars, Christmas trees and more. Use your imagination. “The Paper With A Hometown Flavor” A ten-year-old boy was ...
was failing math. His parents tried everything from tutors to hypnosis; but to no avail. Finally, at the insistence of a family friend, they decided to enroll their son in a private Catholic school. After the first day, the boy’s parents were surprised when he walked in after school with a stern, focused and very determined expression on his face. He went straight past them, right to his room and quietly closed the door. For nearly two hours he toiled away in his room with math books strewn about his desk and the surrounding floor. He emerged long enough to eat, and after quickly cleaning his plate, went straight back to his room, closed the door and worked feverishly at his studies until bedtime. This pattern of behavior continued until it was time for the first quarter’s report card. The boy walked in with it unopened, laid it on the dinner table and went straight to his room. Cautiously, his mother opened it and, to her amazement, she saw a large red ‘A’ under the subject of Math. Overjoyed, she and her husband rushed into their son’s room, thrilled at his remarkable progress. Was it the nuns that did it? the father asked. The boy shook his head and said “No.” Was it the one-to-one tutoring? The peer-mentoring? “No.” The textbooks? The teachers? The curriculum? “No,” said the son. “On that first day, when I walked in the front door and saw that guy nailed to the plus sign, I KNEW they were serious!

“The Paper With A Hometown Flavor” A politically correct Christmas Poem

Twas the night before Christmas and Santa’s a wreck...How to live in a world that’s politically correct? His workers no longer would answer to “Elves”, “Vertically Challenged” they were calling themselves. And labor conditions at the North Pole, were alleged by the union, to stifle the soul. Four reindeer had vanished without much propriety, released to the wilds, by the Humane Society. And equal employment had made it quite clear, that Santa had better not use just reindeer. So Dancer and Donner, Comet and Cupid, were replaced with 4 pigs, and you know that looked stupid! The runners had been removed from his beautiful sleigh, because the ruts were deemed dangerous by the EPA, And millions of people were calling the Cops, when they heard sled noises upon their roof tops. Second-hand smoke from his pipe, had his workers quite frightened, and his fur trimmed red suit was called “unenlightened”. To show you the strangeness of today’s ebbs and flows, Rudolf was suing over unauthorized use of his nose. He went to Geraldo, in front of the Nation, demanding millions in over-due workers compensation. So...half of the reindeer were gone, and his wife who suddenly said she’d had enough of this life, joined a self help group, packed and left in a whiz, demanding from now on that her title was Ms. And as for gifts...why, he’d never had the notion that making a choice could cause such commotion. Nothing of leather, nothing of fur...Which meant nothing for him or nothing for her. Nothing to aim, Nothing to shoot, Nothing that clamored or made lots of noise. Nothing for just girls and nothing for just boys. Nothing that claimed to be gender specific, Nothing that’s warlike or non-pacifistic. No candy or sweets...they were bad for the tooth. Nothing that seemed to embellish upon the truth. And fairy tales...while not yet forbidden, were like Ken and Barbie, better off hidden, for they raised the hackles of those psychological, who claimed the only good gift was one ecological. No baseball, no football...someone might get hurt, besides playing sports exposed kids to dirt. Dolls were said to be sexist and should be passe. and Nintendo would rot your entire brain away. So Santa just stood there, disheveled and perplexed, he just couldn’t figure out what to do next? He tried to be merry he tried to be gay, but you must have to admit he was having a very bad day. His sack was quite empty, it was flat on the ground, nothing fully acceptable was anywhere to be found. Something special was needed, a gift that he might, give to us all, without angering the left or the right. A gift that would satisfy - with no indecision, each group of people in every religion. Every race, every hue, everyone, everywhere...even you! So here is that gift, it’s price beyond worth... “MAY YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES, ENJOY PEACE ON EARTH” HENRY RIFLE, GOLDEN BOY, 22, BRAND NEW, STILL in box $600, Call (775)790-3445 CHÉ WHITE BOOKKEEPING & PAYROLL Services, Specializing in Small Business, Corporation, Not-for-Profit, and Personal Finance. 25+ years experience. Married 25 years...
I took a look at my wife one day and said, “Honey, 25 years ago, we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on a sofa bed and watched a 10 inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep every night with a hot 25 year old blond. Now, we have a nice house, nice car, big bed and plasma screen TV, but I’m sleeping with a 50 year old woman. It seems to me that you are not holding up your side of things.” My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 25 year old blonde, and she would make sure that I would once again be living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofa bed.

“The Paper With A Hometown Flavor”
Dazed and confused!
Over the past few months I have visited our local pet stores to consider purchasing a more nutritious dog meal for my Mini Aussie. He seems to be a little underweight, even though his lab results came back excellent. After surfing the web it appears my Aussie needs more protein in his diet. If my memory serves me right, which it occasionally does, back in the days when I was a kid there were two types of canned dog food; Skippy and Kal-Kan and then there was Purina dog meal. We use to feed our dogs Skippy until finances got better in the household and then we changed to Kal-Kan. Skippy reminded me of corned beef hash in a can and Kal-Kan had big hunks of meat with gravy. Our dogs loved it. After going to the pet stores I came home dazed and confused by the many choices (not to mention brand names) of dog meal on the market today; Lamb Meal and Rice, Vibrant Maturity, 7+ Senior Formula, Sensitive System, Healthy Life Nutrition, Weight Control, Maintenance Small Bites, Small Breed Petite Rice Formula, Maintenance Entretion (Huh?), Healthy Puppy, Large Breed Grande, Performance Formula, Large Breed Puppy, Small Bites, Healthy Mobility, Light Large Breed, Small and Toy Breed, Select Adult, Reduced Fat Formula, Senior with Chicken and Oatmeal, Sensitive Solutions, Adult Select Formula, Grain Free, Active Longevity, Healthy Mobility, Sensitive Skin, Oral Care, Sensitive Stomach and Mature Adult. They now have dog meal for specific breeds; Labrador, Boxer, Rottweiller and German Shepherd. So, if you are planning on getting a pet in the near future, be

prepared for confusion. Personally speaking I think I’ll just go back to the simple menu of Kal-Kan with Purina dog meal! Oh, and table scraps! Flat tire
A blonde’s car gets a flat tire on the Interstate one day so she eases it over onto the shoulder of the road. She carefully steps out of the car and opens the trunk. She then takes out two cardboard men, unfolds them and stands them at the rear of the vehicle facing oncoming traffic. The lifelike cardboard men are in trench coats exposing their nude bodies to approaching drivers...Not surprisingly, the traffic became snarled and backed up. It wasn’t very long before a police car arrives. The Officer, clearly enraged, approaches the blonde of the disabled vehicle yelling, “What is going on here?” “My car broke down, Officer” says the woman, calmly. “Well, what the heck are these obscene cardboard pictures doing here by the road?!” asks the Officer... “Helllllooooo, those are my emergency flashers!” she replies. I have been in many places, but I’ve never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can’t go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone. I’ve also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there. I have, however, been in Sane. They don’t have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and work. I live close so it’s a short drive. I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I’m not too much on physical activity anymore. I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go and I try not to visit there too often. I’ve been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm. Sometimes I’m in Capable and I go there more often as I’m getting older. One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenaline flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get! And, sometimes I think I am in Vincible but life shows me I am not. People keep telling me I’m in Denial but I’m positive I’ve never been there before! I have been in Deep-Poop many times; the older I get, the easier it is to get there. I actually kind of enjoy it there. So far, I haven’t been in Continent, but my travel agent says I’ll be going soon. Wishing you all safe travels! PIANO, GUITAR, COMPOSITION LESSONS. ALL LEVELS and ages. How long does it take to digest food?
Digestion time varies among individuals and between men and women. After you eat, it takes about six to eight hours for food to pass through your stomach and small intestine. Food then enters your large intestine (colon) for further digestion, absorption of water and, finally, elimination of undigested food. It takes about 36 hours for food to move through the entire colon. All in all, the whole process — from the time you swallow food to the time it leaves your body as feces — takes about two to five days, depending on the individual. (E. Take nothing for granted, for whenever you do, The “joy of enjoying” is lessened for you - For we rob our own lives much more than we know - When we fail to respond or in any way show our thanks for the blessings that daily are ours . . . The warmth of the sun, the fragrance of flowers, The beauty of twilight, the freshness of dawn, The coolness of dew on a green velvet lawn, The kind little deeds so thoughtfully done, The favors of friends and the love that someone unselfishly gives us in a myriad of ways, expecting no payment and no words of praise - Oh, great is our loss when we no longer find a thankful response to things of this kind, For the joy of enjoying and the fullness of living are found in the heart that is filled with Thanksgiving. 1950’S JUKE BOX $2,000; 1998 NASH 5TH wheel 28.5, new bed, toilet, blinds $7,000; antique dresser, 4 drawers with mirror $60;, corner lot make offer; new women’s Tour Edge Golf clubs with bag $200, paid $500 (775)560-6496 WANTED! A little help please...
A little boy was afraid of the dark. One night his mother told him to go out to the back porch and bring her the broom. The little boy turned to his mother and said, “Mama, I don’t want to go out there. It’s dark.” The mother smiled reassuringly at her son. “You don’t have to be afraid of the dark,” she explained. “Jesus is out there. He’ll look after you and protect you.” The little boy looked at his mother real hard and asked, “Are you sure he’s out there?” “Yes, I’m sure. He is everywhere, and he is always ready to help you when you need him,” she said. The little boy thought about that for a minute and then went to the back door and cracked it a little. Peering out into the darkness, he called, “Jesus? If you’re out there, would you please hand me the broom?” 10% OFF ON ANY SIZE NEW GARAGE DOOR! 50 years experience, offering Doors by CHI, Liftmaster garage door openers, spring or rollers replacement, service to most residential doors: senior, military and cash discounts.
