The unpaid overtime lawsuit alleges that United Healthcare violated federal overtime law by (1) misclassifying New Mexico-based Care Coordinators as exempt, and (2) paying Care Coordinators on a salary basis, BUT (3) refusing to pay them overtime when they worked over 40 hours per week. Lawsuit seeks recovery of triple the amount of unpaid overtime due to the New Mexico-based Care Coordinators pursuant to the New Mexico Minimum Wage Act.
