1. Glass Horizons Typology: Mixed-Use Location: Downtown Greenville, South Carolina ARCH 4520 | Prof: Rick Del Monte + Sam Herring | Partner: Saige Lincoln In the heart of Downtown Greenville, South Carolina four blocks of it was reimagined. The goal of this project was to redesign two blocks out of the four of Downtown Greenville in place of a mix of office, residential, retail, and university space. With these striking towers during our massing analyzation, we wanted them to each have their own identity but still keeping a matching consistency with one another. We‘ve created each tower with their own 3D glass design and the lower base buildings with a simple grid-like design to not take away from the towers. With each block having its own plaza, it allows pedestrians from Main St wanted to know more with each tower down the road.

Interwoven Typology: Cafe + Art studio Location: 387 Sumter St. Charleston, South Carolina ARCH 3520 | Prof: Ashley Jennings | Individual This historic church, located on the western side of the Charleston peninsula, was repurposed to give it a new life. The goal of this project was a adaptively reuse the church and chose a program that would best fit it. In this design the interior of the church has been repurposed into an art studio with there being an addition next to it with the purpose of it being a cafe. This place was created to interwove two popular third places and to combine them into one. It’s a place for those to explore their creativity while also grabbing a cup of coffee.

Due to the immense amount of noise to consider when designing a civic center. This design was centered around block those noises and embracing it through an enlarged square design that cascades to block any disturbing noises. With Cayce, SC being a place known for its art. The design of the roof was meant to emphasize that meaning. With facated roofs and captivating panel systems this place was built for all creatives and more!
