Games for Brains

Some of the best games still come in a box. They challenge the best thinkers and frustrate the most competitive.

If you think you have what it takes or just enjoy playing board games and card games then this is for you.

Strategic games develop higher level thinking skills, the ability to plan, and to react to changing circumstances.

You will get the chance to play a range of different games and pit your wits against your friends or someone new. You can also bring along your own favourite game and teach other students and teachers how to play.

We will play a variety of strategic games on the first two days and then encourage students to bring in their own games to share on the third day.

Expectations during Enrichment Week

Students will be asked to sign a conduct agreement regarding expectations and responsibilities during the week. Our students are expected to have an excellent reputation for their conduct during trips and visits.

We therefore want to help ensure the safety of the students, accompanying adults and members of the public. Any student who endangers themselves, the group or the public may be removed from the activity. In exceptional cases, a parent may be requested to collect their child.

Attendance

We regard Enrichment week as an important part of your child's education and expect normal attendance. Reasons for non-attendance need to be submitted using an absence request form (S2), as the college has to provide details of all unauthorised absences to the Department for Education. We are unable to authorise absence during activity expect for exceptional circumstances.
