INTERNSHIP THIS PARTICULAR PROJECT WAS LOCATED IN A VILLAGE CALLED KASAULI IN THE STATE OF HIMACHAL PRADESH. IT WAS A GIGANTIC SITE WITH A CLEAR VIEW OF THE CITY OF CHANDIGARH. THIS PRTICULAR SITE WAS IN A SUCH A REMOTE AREA THAT A SPECIAL ROAD OF 3KM WAS SPECIALLY CONSTRUCTED TO ACCESS THE SITE CONVIENIENTLY. THE CLIENTS REQUIREMENTS SUGGESTED A MODERN HOUSE WITH THREE FLOORS FLOWING INTO THE NATURE WITH MAXIMUM TRANSPARENCY. THIS CITERIA EXPLAINS THE HUGE GLAZED WINDOWS. THE DRAWING BELOW SHOWS THE GROUND FLOOR PLAN AND A 3 DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURE PRODUCED BY ME. ROLE : PREPARED WORKING DRAWINGS, PREPARED 3D DRAWINGS, WORKED ON THE DESIGN, MONITORED THE CONSTRUCTION.

INTERNSHIP THIS PROECT WAS LOCATED IN THE NARKANDA REGION OF THE STATE OF HIMACHAL PRADESH IN INDIA . THE CLIENTS OF THIS PROECT WERE A LOCAL COUPLE WANTING TO BUILD A RETIREMENT HOUSE FOR THEMSELVES AMONST THEIR APPLE ORCHIDS. AS THE ENTIRE SITE WAS HEAVILY CONTOURED THE MAIN CHALLENGE WAS TO DOCUMENT THE PLACE ALONG WITH THHE EXISTING APPLE TREES. DURING THIS PROCESS I GOT AN HANS-ON EXPERIENCE WITH THE MEASURING TOOLS SUCH AS THHE SURVEY RODS, LEVEL CHECKING MACHINE, LASERS ETC. THGE CLIENTS WANTED A VERY HOME THAT FLOWS INTO THEIR VERY PRECIOUS ORCHIDS. AS THIS REGIONS IS ON A PARTICULARLY HIGHER ALTITUDE TRANSPORTING MATERIALS DID NOT SEEM LIKE A VIABLE OPTION AND HENCE THE LOCALLY AVAIBLE WOOD, ST STONES AND OTHER SIMILAR MATERIAL WERE MADE USE OF FOR THE CONSTRUCTION.

An individual’s housing needs change over time, and an ADU’s use can be adapted for different household types, income levels, employment situations and stages of life. The income provided by an ADU tenant can be especially important for older people on fixed in-comes.ADUs offer young people entry-level housing choices. ADU for student housing in California is a ne-cessity and a requirement. California is brimming with universities known around the glob and hence face a lot of student population that come to this state. The main and primary idea of the design is to provide each individual with a space of their own while creat-ing a sense of sharing by providing a few shared spaces. The various levels designed in the structure allows to provide various fluid spaces. S I T E

The orietation of the structure divides the space into two parts, creating backyards for both the houses. To follow the language of the structure, a sunken etrance (-3’) is provided that leads directly to the mud-room and then the living area. The bedroom1 is provided on the ground floor for easy accessibility while bed-rooms 2 & 3 are provided on -3ft ad 5ft respectively. There is a courtyard in the centre of these houses keepig them visually connected.

The USC Social Services Center, a timber high-rise in Chinatown, Los Angeles, redefines urban architecture with its emphasis on open spaces and sustainability. Designed to maximize connectivity, the building incorporates open areas on every floor, promoting interaction and community engagement. Constructed primarily from timber, it exemplifies eco-consciousness,
utilizing
renewable
resources
and
energy-efficient systems to minimize its environmental footprint. Through
its
innovative
design
and
commitment
to
sustainability, the USC Social Services Center not only serves as a hub for social support but also as a model for sustainable urban development in the heart of Los Angeles' vibrant Chinatown.

Designing voids with tailored light conditions creates a harmonious architectural experience. Visitors embark on a journey through light-infused stages, beginning in a welcoming gathering area. Strategically positioned, a serene meditation space receives sunlight, offering tranquility. Steps lead to community spaces or separate meditation levels, catering to diverse needs. An innovative dining area blurs indoor-outdoor boundaries with natural light. Linear mid-levels encourage interaction and unity. Simultaneously, workspaces optimize lighting for productivity. This sensory journey enhances experiences, catering to socializing, introspection, dining, and work. It epitomizes architectural innovation, meeting diverse needs while maintaining a deep connection to light and space.
