UL (Underwriters Laboratories)
Sicame cable ties are recognised and listed by UL according to UL 62275 - Cable Management Systems - Cable Ties for Electrical Installations. The UL Mark on a positioning device is widely recognized to indicate that it meets safety and performance standards for both electrical and non-electrical applications.
DNV
DNV certification guarantees that Sicame cable ties meet the criteria of Det Norske Veritas (Norway) and Germanischer Lloyd (Germany) standards, and can be used for securing indoor and outdoor cables on ships, offshore platforms and high-speed and light boats.
EN 45545-2
EN 45545-2: Railway applications - Fire protection on railway vehicles - Part 2 - Requirements for fire behaviour of materials and components.
ABS (American Bureau of Shipping)
The ABS certificate, according to the IEC 60092-101 standard, confirms that Sicame cable ties can be used in cable fixing, outdoor and indoor, on marine and offshore units shipbuilding.
Lloyd's Register Marine and Shipping
Sicame cable ties have been tested with satisfactory results in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Lloyd's Register Type Approval System.
VDE Prüf- und Zertifizierungsinstitut
This Mark Approval forms the basis for the EC Declaration of Conformity and CE Marking by the manufacturer and proves that Sicame cable ties comply with the essential safety requirements of the EC Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
The RoHS Directive limits the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The materials used to produce Sicame cable ties comply with the RoHS 2011/65/EU Annex II and amending Directive (EU) 2015/863.

Storage
Sicame cable ties are made of high quality of nylon 6.6 resin. The property of this material is in moisture absorbed and released. Cable ties require to contain the moisture and to be packed and sealed in the packaging to have optimal performance. Hence, the conditions for keeping the packaging of cable ties are very important.
Application
The ideal storage temperature is around 23°C with a relative humidity over 50%.
Do not open the bag before use. Please try to finish the whole bag content of cable ties shortly once it is opened. Seal the bag for remaining pieces to keep quality.
Do not expose directly under sunlight except UV resistant cable-ties.
Avoid storing cable ties next to warm objects like heaters.

The ideal storage conditions are those of the central European standard climate 23°C with the humidity over 50%.
