Reasons why you chose to study on this programme: Overall better knowledge and understanding of Graphic Design The programme has had consistent results of employment for students It’s not a ‘doss’ course Students work from this course was more impressive than other courses Things that you want to learn: How to develop appropriate ideas quickly and efficently in response to briefs. How to use software so my ideas aren’t limited to my abilities. Learn how to pick and use type that works for the function intended. Confidence in presenting and talking about my work. Skills that are your strength: Group work Open minded/ experimental Get work done on time Drawing, doodling and generating ideas 5 things you want to improve: To get good enough on photoshop & illustrator so I can make things look how I want them to. Communication and presentation skills. Layout design To be more accurate with the execution of a piece of work- more perfectionist and less cutting corners.

Summary Although I wasn’t able to get properly involved with a brief, I enjoyed working there, the designers were enthusiastic and helpful, the studio space was ‘creative’ and the music was good.

- Stamps for Royal Mail - Prospectus for MMU - Lots of sitting with nothing to do - Safe design - corporate.

Summary Although I got involved with interesting briefs the work environment was too corporate, the designers that worked there at the time (and have since quit) were unenthusiastic and bored of design. Radio stations that play about 10 songs on a loop for 9 hours a day.
