About Us We are a welcoming and inclusive college committed to ensuring young people are prepared for a rapidly changing, global workplace and are encouraged to flourish as creative, life-long learners. Shooters Hill Sixth Form College is a place where young people are able to develop confidence in themselves, aspire and achieve.

Our Community Our community have supported our college for many years and we strive to contribute back in to our community with activities such as Food & Life Skills, leisure and sports.

Take a dive in to our indoor swimming pool here at Shooters Hill Sixth Form College!

Learn how to swim, become a lifeguard or improve your fitness with Polaris Aquatic. Our facilities allow you to do all three. All sessions are monitored by trained professionals.

Swim and Spa package deals are available for our community residents, or you can purchase a gift voucher for your loved one in our Beauty Lounge.

Our specialised Hair and Beauty students offer a wide range of treatments at great prices. Come along to the college and enjoy a day of pampering with a choice of treatments in our salons.

Caribbean Swim Polaris Aquatic Caribbean Swim

We are very happy to present our Caribbean Swim community club, representing all our Caribbean communities. Whether you are from the tropical islands of Jamaica or the rich blue seas of the Bahamas, we invite you all!

Its never too late to learn how to swim; we cover all areas of progression, including our fearless beginners. All ages welcomeour oldest member is 97 years old!

Lets us help you take the first splash! Join us every Friday afternoon 10am - 12pm.

Caribbean Swim Member, 1 Year.

I joined Caribbean swim as a non-swimmer about a year ago. I have really enjoyed learning how to swim, and whilst we are all at different levels, it has really improved my confidence and I feel as if I still get a lot out of it. I encourage all ages and genders to join, as it also improves health benefits like artheritis.

I have been swimming for around 6 years and for the past few months I have learnt to improve my swimming techniques with Caribbean swim classes. I have found now when I swim I don't get as tired and my breathing techniques has helped me to swim for a longer duration. I enjoy the social aspect and just can't wait for more classes.

Dynamic coaching provide activities, support, education and mentoring to our communities with the main goal of enhancing young lives. This is primarily through the provision of multi-sports sessions. We also offer a range of other programmes, These include: traineeship schemes for young people aged 16 years plus, weekend and school holiday multi-sports camps for children aged 5-15 years, and our SEND multi-sports provision.

Dynamic Coaching & All Kids Can holiday camps remain a fun, energetic and enthusiastic space; which gently introduce children to a multitude of sports and activities. Our schedules include active and social classes, supported by a range of high standard equipment and materials, as well as fully trained and enhanced DBS- checked staff.

City View Restaurant is our very own fine dining restaurant- where the food is prepared by advanced catering students, supervised and guided by professional chefs from the hospitality industry.

THE COFFEE CORNER The Coffee Corner is our little slice of relaxation. Staff, students and visitors come here to unwind and recharge throughout the day.

NEWS UPDATE Completed two widths in the pool Emmanuel. G, A member of the Caribbean swim started two weeks ago. He has worked so hard and built up so much confidence to cover two widths of the pool! Congratulations Emmanuel.

Grand Opening of the 4G Football Pitches and the Ibe Awards Thank you to our special guest former Liverpool and Bournemouth football player Jordon Ibe for coming down to present awards to our students and open the new 4G football pitches with our principal Geoff Osborne.

Beauty students wellbeing day with Queen Elizabeth midwives We have teamed up once again with our community NHS. Our Beauty students travelled to Queen Elizabeth hospital to deliver relaxing treatments to our midwives during their break! Well Done Beauty Team.
