Spring Hill VS. Parkers Chapel

On Friday the 8th the Spring Hill Bears took on the Parkers Chapel Trojans for Spring Hill’s Senior Night. Spring Hill got a go-ahead score with a 43-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jaxon Smith to Karson Hamilton. This put Springhill up 20-16 after most of the second half the Bears had remained 1614. With a good run to the right, the Bears scored their two-point conversion. The third quarter rolled around and the game came to a halt after a fight broke out between about four players from the Bears and Trojans. After a long hard-fought game the Spring Hill Bears came out on top and won the game.

Whatley Words of Wisdom:

Principal’s Corner:

A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to what it was. Experience is what causes a person to make new mistakes instead of old ones. Don't be nervous about taking on a challenge Who knows, you may become the next Einstein

New To The Crew

Hi, my name is Coach Spangler. This is my first year at Spring Hill, and this is my first year to teach Physical and Environmental Science My goal is to be the best possible teacher, I can learn from all the other teachers and soak it all in. My inspiration to teach was my high school science teacher, she was a huge influence on my life, and if I can impact and help students half as much as she did, I would consider it a job well done. She is a huge reason why I'm here today My favorite thing about Spring Hill is that it feels as if I’m a part of this big family. Even though I’m not from around here everyone welcomes you with open arms!!

Amelia Lambrechts

Amelia (Ingrid Sandrina) Lambrechts, but they don’t use the 2nd or 3rd names. She is from Namur, Belgium. She has one sister who is 14. What she likes most about the US and Spring Hill is she’s discovering new things, new people, and new traditions. The fact she’s living an adventure that, any other wish for, makes it unique. What she misses most about her home country is the food such as the fries and chocolate. She has only been here for a short time, so there’s not much that she misses other than her cat.

Spring Hill is important to him because he went to school here and after working 6 years at other schools he got to come home and raise my family here He likes all of the shop classes because students are normally working on lots of hands-on projects that keep him busy. He chose to be an Agriculture Teacher because of my love of agriculture He was raised on the family farm and he thought it was important that students know where their food comes from.

Hannah is our co-editor and chef working along with her classmates to get the newspaper done She picked journalism because she thought it would be a fun class to do She was given the role by Mrs Dowell since she has been in this class for 4 years What skills will help her that she’s learned from this class is learning how to work with all kinds of people She does not plan to get a job in this field Hannah is a senior and will not be a part of the newspaper again What she does outside of class is doing media in her church and enjoys grabbing coffee with friends She loves her role and wouldn’t change a thing about it

She wants her future occupation to be a Dental Hygienist. Brisa has only been at Spring Hill for only a year. What she will miss most about Spring Hill is the teachers and staff. All the teachers and staff have always been very caring and helpful. They always put in an effort to help us. Her advice for underclassmen is to “Work hard now so you don’t have to worry about your senior year and ask a lot of questions for college because if you don’t, you’ll probably be lost. Remember to ejoy your 4 years because it will go by fast before you even know it.” What she does after school is draw and practice doing her nails at home. Her favorite memory at Spring Hill is being in Mrs. Dowell’s class with Maddie, Kelsi Beth, and Rylee.
