Whatley Words of Wisdom:

Have any of you noticed the Jonquils, the beautiful yellow flowers, growing?

These flowers symbolize forgiveness and a desire for affection to be reciprocated. They also symbolize creativity, success, rebirth, and renewal. Jonquils also let me know the crappie are about to spawn!!!!!! So, let's try to be like Jonquils and start over. Try to be positive and have fun. It sure is fun out in the sun catching crappie in the Spring!!!

Corner:

I am super proud of the students who did the presenting during our CTE showcase. They did a fabulous job! I also want to thank Mrs. Tatom, Mrs. VanNorman, Mrs Smith, and Mr Plyler for their job of leading these clubs I also want to brag about our journalism class that puts the paper out each time Mrs Dowell and her team do a fantastic job We have several more exciting things coming up on our campus during the next several months It's awesome to be a Spring Hill Bear! Waylon Lewallen

Waylon Lewallen has taught at Spring Hill for 18 years Lewallen teaches US and World Histories (both A.P. and regular). His goal this year is to have students gain an appreciation of history and to show students that history matters. His inspiration is to be the teacher I needed in school but did not have but to also be the teachers I did have in college that made history fun and enjoyable but also show the importance of the subject To be not only what students need as a teacher but what my students deserve. His favorite thing about Spring Hill is that it is small and we as faculty are able to gain a connection with students others at a big school might not be able to have but also the fact that Spring Hill is a family

LexyMcNeil

Lexy McNiel has been a part of Spring Hill since kindergarten. She plans on attending the University of Arkansas to pursue an RN degree. She has always wanted to help people. Lexy’s goal for the rest of her senior year is to enjoy the time with her friends and classmates she has left. She will miss her teachers. I know once I graduate I won’t talk to my classmates, but I will miss seeing their familiar faces around She also works at job at Dos Locos Gringos as a waitress. Her advice to underclassmen is: Enjoy your last few years of school. Do not dwell on drama. That will not matter when you graduate and start your life. It doesn’t hurt to say nice things and keep to yourself. Her favorite memory of Spring Hill is experiencing going from 7th grade to 12th. The lessons I have learned and the knowledge that has been shown to me. Growing and maturing.
