Hyderabad Campus is the largest Microsoft campus outside of the United States and the direction is to develop from the existing facilities on this 54-acre site a smart, energy efficient campus aligned to the Sustainability, Diversity & Inclusivity (D&I) and Digital Transformation (DT) goals of Microsoft.

Currently the campus is a collection of four separate office buildings, a standalone multi-level car park (MLCP), central kitchen and ancillary buildings placed within a landscaped environment with numerous notable geological features. It is the desire to create a Master Plan that roadmaps a connected and accessible campus and to appropriately locate future buildings with a holistic approach to the entire campus environment.

MODERNISM

The advent of modernism in India ushered in a profound transformation in the realm of architecture. This era of architectural innovation brought forth a diverse array of interpretations in form and style. Among these, Modern Regionalism, often referred to as Critical Regionalism, emerged as a significant and purposeful architectural approach. Critical Regionalism, at its core, aligns with the principles of Modern Architecture while preserving the intrinsic essence and methodologies rooted in the local context. In this project, we will delve into the dynamic interplay between modernism and critical regionalism in Indian architecture, exploring their impact, evolution, and the enduring significance they hold in shaping the architectural landscape of India.
