How to grow the business with SAP EWM!

Changing business conditions require a new SAP EWM strategy.

SAP EWM Online Training, also known as SAP Extended Warehouse Management. The name itself may be misleading because EWM has been designed from the ground up and is not an addition to or extension of what was previously available. This is because supply chain management (SCM) is becoming increasingly recognized as a science due to the critical role it plays in almost every business operation. The majority of warehouse-related jobs are made simpler and more effective by the high-speed EWM technology. It can be deployed across multiple sites and tailored to meet the unique requirements of each organization. Let's examine what this actually means in real life.

Handling tasks Imagine seeing a time-lapse film of a typical warehouse where pickers are at work. Throughout the course of the day, it's common to witness the same person returning to the same stock bin repeatedly, running into other pickers, and frequently retracing their steps. Fast-forwarding makes it evident that this method of working is inefficient, but it is required because WM presents the orders that must be picked for on a single day as a large block of work that is challenging to divide.

Resource management EWM needs minimal integration with the back office; on completion of a task pickers are automatically fed the next one, allowing them to focus on the job, rather than continually refer back for their next activity.
