Visit Shropshire’s first Flower Field Experience this Summer

Shropshire Festivals has joined forces with biodegradable petal confetti business, Shropshire Petals, to provide a flower field experience in Newport this summer!

There will be acres of stunning flowers to walk amongst, and we’ll be turning it into a must-visit experience.

The exact opening date will be revealed once the flowers are ready to bloom, which is expected to happen in early August.

Getting completely immersed in the colourful fields will be a memorable experience for flower lovers and families. Shropshire Petal Fields will be open to the public for a limited time, with exclusive access to stroll amongst delphiniums, sunflowers, cornflowers, and wildflowers, providing the perfect photo opportunity.

We’ve seen these stunning flowers in bloom, and we can’t wait to share the unbelievably beautiful visual with our community, whilst adding in our usual dose of fun with kids’ activities in the woods and delicious food too.

There will be a myriad of bright pink, blue, purple, yellow, and white flowers, that will enchant visitors of all ages. You’ll also have the opportunity to buy your own freshly cut flowers. The field will make the most stunning backdrop for any photo, so you can take the beauty home with you.
