CLUB BIO

Ellesmere Rangers Ladies FC was founded by Nikki Bradley and Meg Gocher. With strong local interest and no existing women’s team in the area, they brought their vision of establishing a ladies side to Ellesmere. The club has grown and developed steadily since its formation and continues to play an important role in the local football community.

Key Achievements:

• Staffordshire County Women’s League Cup Finalists – 2017

• Tom Farmer Women’s Cup Semi-Finalists – 2018

The club’s journey reflects its strong community roots, dedication, and continued progress within the women’s game.

Captain Profile: Rebecca Roberts = This season marks 10 years at Ellesmere Rangers for Rebecca Roberts, who has become a huge part of the club both on and off the pitch. A strong and dependable centre back, Rebecca has consistently shown commitment, leadership and passion throughout her time with the team.

Key Player: Felicity Townsend - is one of the key attacking players for Ellesmere Rangers Ladies FC, known for her pace, skill and eye for goal.

CLUB BIO

This is the third season for Up and Comers Ladies team. Our first season 23/24, we had a mix of players who had played at a higher level, youth players stepping up into adult football, quite a few that hadn't played football before and a few who hadnt played for a considerable period of time. Despite this our first season was very successful, we finished 3rd in the league and reached the league cup final losing out to Afc Telford Utd reserves. The following season 24/25 we recruited again and retained the majority of the squad. We saw progression from our junior section building on our clubs pathway. That season we narrowly missed out on the league title, but again made the league cup final, this time winning the trophy beating Telford Town. 24/25 season was also special, as we were accepted into the womens adobe fa cup for the first time This season 25/26 has been a remarkable one. The clubs pathway has produced great talent, with 6 of our u17s squad gaining first team experiance. We've had some success in the Adobe womens fa cup making the second qualifiying round losing out narrowly to a tier 5 side.

Kit Colours: Blue

Captain Profile: Amanda Reeve has been with the team since the start. She has always been our team captain and brings not only excellent footballing skills and technique but experience and calmness in the centre of the pitch.yle Cassell joined the club towards the end of the season and has established himself as an integral part of the squad, leading the line with experience. His performances earned him numerous Man of the Match awards and helped end the season on a high.

Key Player: Katie White is the oldest player in the team, so naturally brings a lot of experience. But beyond that she has consitently been the teams top goal scorer.

Your encouragment from the sidelines really oes make a difference Whether your a regular supporter, family member or ming along for the first time. Lets make some noise and get right behind the girls as they go for silverware.

CHAIRMAN’S WORDS

First and foremost, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to the Croud Meadow

It is a pleasure to welcome the players, along with today’s match officials and supporters, as we come together to celebrate the fantastic achievement of reaching this cup final.

A special thank you must go to our match officials. Their appointments to today’s final are a testament to their dedication, professionalism and hard work throughout the season.

I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to all clubs and leagues for their continued support during the 2025/26 season. Your contribution plays a vital role in the ongoing growth and success of grassroots football across Shropshire.

Finally, I would like to recognise the staff and volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes. Their efforts ensure the smooth running of our competitions and the successful organisation of occasions such as today.

I would like to wish both teams the very best of luck. Regardless of the result, today represents a wonderful celebration of football and a fitting way to conclude the 2025/26 campaign.
