SHROPSHIRE FA

Not everyone has the same opportunities when it comes to developing life skills that can help secure a job, or support career growth. England Football Learning and Chase, as the Official Banking Partner of England Football Learning, want to help change that, by harnessing the power of football to help individuals develop transferable skills that can unlock their potential, on the pitch and beyond.

Chase fully funded places have been created to provide funding opportunities for coaches who would benefit from financial support towards completing either the Introduction to Coaching Football, UEFA B Licence or UEFA A Licence.

The programme is aligned to our wider goal of helping to increase participation within the game, as well as Chase’s ongoing investment in community-based programmes. By fostering diversity and inclusion within our coaching workforce we aim to:

Increase participation: Inspiring individuals from all backgrounds

THE NEW SAINTS LFC U15

Club History:

The Women and Girl’s programme at The New Saints has gone from Strength to Strength over the last decade or so The Women's first team have had a tough season but were able to reach the semi finals of 2 x cup competitions for the first time in club history, and ended their season on a high with 4 x consecutive wins and achieving silverware in winning the Adran Premier Plate.

Our U19s who also play under FAW, recently finished 2nd in the league behind Connah’s Quay Nomads and one place ahead of local rivals Wrexham AFC. 10 x U19s players also made their 1st team debut this season, showing the progressive pathway we have at TNS.

Our U18’s and U15’s squads have also had an incredible season thus far, with U18s winning their league, and our U15’s currently sitting at the top of their league table. Whilst the U18s struggled in cup competitions, the U15s have progressed nicely though both cup competitions, reaching the final of both!

Exciting plans are already in place to launch the Girls Scholarship Programme in September 2024 in collaboration with North Shropshire College, and younger age groups will be added very soon to our already extremely competitive youth pathway

Congratulations to both teams in today's final, enjoy the occasion and give it your all!
