On behalf of the Trustees of Shropshire FA, I am delighted to welcome you to AFC Telford United for the 2024/25 County Cup Finals.

It is a real pleasure to welcome the players, match officials, and supporters of clubs from across Shropshire, as we come together to celebrate the achievements of grassroots football in our county.

A special word of thanks goes to our match officials, whose appointments to these finals are a reflection of their dedication, professionalism, and hard work throughout the season. Your contribution to the game is truly appreciated.

We would also like to place on record our sincere thanks to all clubs and leagues for their support and cooperation during the 2024/25 season. Your ongoing commitment is vital to the continued success of football across Shropshire. Finally, our appreciation goes to the staff and volunteers behind the scenes, whose tireless efforts ensure the smooth running of our competitions and the organisation of these finals. Our squad is a true representation of unity and passion, with players from various backgrounds coming together for one common goal: the love of the game. Each member brings something unique to the table, and it's this diversity that has made us a formidable force throughout the season. In our debut season, TF Nations have ranked up a stunning number of wins, had a dominant league campaign, and reaching three cup finals. Led by captain Jake Young and powered by the relentless goal-scoring of Cal Wilson, the team has combined grit, talent, and unity to achieve what few debut sides ever dream of.

Manager/Coach

Gav is the heart and soul of the team, known for his light-hearted approach and sense of humour. A manager who believes in keeping things fun, he creates a relaxed environment where banter flows freely, but the focus is always on getting results. Gav’s ability to keep spirits high, even during tough moments, has earned him the respect and affection of the squad. The players always know how to enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
