Shrewsbury Up & Comers, an FA 3 Star Accredited club, was established in 1973 as a grassroots football club offering children in the local area an opportunity to play football. 50 years of supporting our local community makes us one of if not the oldest Grassroots club in the county, we have an impressive 58 teams! The club continues to offer grassroots football for both boys and girls from the age of 4 up, and provides adult football for both men and ladies. Since the establishment of a Girls Development Officer, the club has seen female participation grow and was the first grassroots club in Shropshire to partner with #hergametoo to champion women in sport. The adult Ladies team formed in the summer of 2023 completing our pathway for girls. This is the ladies team's first season and what a season it has been! Reaching the league cup final and currently third in the league,
