Developing confidence and self-esteem through hands-on outdoor learning

www.lifeshed.co.uk

The Life Shed is a tried and tested mentoring programme for young people who find the school environment challenging.
Our aim is to help young people grow in confidence, independence and self-belief so that they can become the best that they can be in a truly holistic sense.
We offer bespoke Emotional Regulation Mentoring Programmes (ERMP) at the Life Shed facility in Shrewsbury, in school and through a range of outdoor activities designed to best meet each student’s needs.
WELCOME AND THANK YOU
Shropshire Junior Football League gives special thanks to Market Drayton Town FC for hosting the second SJFL Festival Of Charity Cup Finals at Greenfields Stadium for season 2023/24. This is the eighth season of our partnership with the senior club and will see Greenfields Stadium being an excellent setting for the SJFL U13 Charity and Consolation Charity Cup Finals and U14 Consolation Charity Cup Final. Toady marks the inaugural presentation of the ‘Mick Murphy Memorial Cup’ to the U13 Charity Cup winners. This competition is sponsored by SJFL and will be played for each season at MDT FC. SLFL is pleased that MDT FC continues to support junior and community grassroots football.

The Georgia Williams Trust
Free your spirit – join in
Charities spring up for many reasons all over the world but we believe The Georgia Williams Trust is just a little different. We are a charity dedicated to providing a lasting long term legacy to an exceptional young lady. Georgia suddenly and unexpectedly lost her life at the end of May 2013 and her spirit has touched not just her own community but people all over the world. With the money raised we will celebrate Georgia’s life by enabling young people in her community to access adventure, outdoor activities and volunteering.
The aim of The Georgia Williams Trust is to get young people believing “they can do”, enabling them to have access to adventurous outdoor activities and encouraging them to volunteer. Get out and fly a plane, canoe down the river, climb a mountain or trek up the Wrekin. We will use the Trust fund to get that spirit going and keep it going, she’d love that so “Free your spirit – join in”.
The Georgia Williams Trust is honoured to be The Respect Partners with the Shropshire Junior Football League as it’s most apt that we also promote respect in our Trust – this is between others in every way – not just in sports, but in everyday life. The Trust aims to help children and young people from the ages of 11-18 reach their goals in life and looks at how we can get these people involved in as many ways as possible – and perhaps achieve something they didn’t think possible.
This is an inspiring venture for both the Trust and League and we are pleased SJFL’s badge and that of the GWT are entwined as Respect Partners and the league’s ‘Respect Awards’ are branded ‘The Georgia Williams Trust - respect Awards’.
