SHROPSHIRE FA

Not everyone has the same opportunities when it comes to developing life skills that can help secure a job, or support career growth. England Football Learning and Chase, as the Official Banking Partner of England Football Learning, want to help change that, by harnessing the power of football to help individuals develop transferable skills that can unlock their potential, on the pitch and beyond.

Chase fully funded places have been created to provide funding opportunities for coaches who would benefit from financial support towards completing either the Introduction to Coaching Football, UEFA B Licence or UEFA A Licence.

The programme is aligned to our wider goal of helping to increase participation within the game, as well as Chase’s ongoing investment in community-based programmes. By fostering diversity and inclusion within our coaching workforce we aim to:

Increase participation: Inspiring individuals from all backgrounds

BROSELEY YOUTH SPORTS U18 GIRLS

Broseley Youth Sports was established in 1981. Since then it has provided football in the local community for children of all ages. It has become an integral part of the fabric that makes our community so great.

At Broseley Youth we believe that we create the right environment for young players to express themselves, be themselves and most importantly, have fun!

Broseley Youth Sports Girls was founded in 2017 when we started our first girls only team at Broseley. This current team so far has been quite successful, winning the league undefeated, coming runners up, and appearing in 3 cup finals before today. They missed out on another possible league championship when the season was ended through COVID. The girls have also been awarded Respect Team of the season by the league committee.

5 of the players from the first season still play for the team today putting in 6 seasons of service. We have players representing us from local communities and from further afield. Every player that has represented us has played a part in getting us where we are today.

As a coaching staff we are proud and privileged to have such wonderful football talents and amazing young people representing this team.

We proudly play in the Shropshire Girls Football League and are very grateful for the hard work and dedication the league and it's club members put in to provide a fantastic platform for girls football in Shropshire.
