Good afternoon and welcome to the second Jamie Locke Memorial game hosted here at Wellington Amateurs Ground against Newport Old Boys. We are lead to believe the Newport team have come together today and are intending on playing a few matches soon, so a big Thank You to both teams for playing today.

Last year we (Jamie's Family) were overwhelmed by the pouring of support to us and to the memory of Jamie himself. A great deal of money was raised in that day and a big Thank You to The Phez Newport and to Tracey Cherrington and family for all your help and support on that day.

Looking on this year our aim is to split proceeds between Diabetes UK and to purchase a memorial bench which will be situated somewhere on the Shuker Field where Jamie played football for Nova Eagles as GK. Bobby his son will be able to play on the park and see how loved his daddy was.

A big thank you to everyone that donated Raffle Prizes last year and family and friends who have kindly donated to this event.

Can I personally say this event wouldn't happen without Nick's commitment to football and love for his brother, alongside people working behind the sc afternoon, I thank you. So, enjoy the game and we look meeting you after.
