VALDOSTA COUNTRY CLUB RESTORATION & RENOVATION GROUNDBREAKING

The restoration and renovation of the historic Valdosta Country Club golf course kicked off on Thursday, December 8, 2022, with a groundbreaking ceremony. The Board of Governors, Long Range Planning Committee, many members, and staff were in attendance to celebrate the project, several years in the making. The Club looks forward to reopening the fully renovated 18-hole course and new 6-hole short course and practice areas later this Fall.

On February 9, Only Options, R.L. Martin, and Perfect Settings celebrated the grand opening of their new location at 3350 Country Club Road. The event included live music by IPG Architects, a book signing by James Farmer, and a jewelry trunk show by Allison Avery. A ribbon cutting was held the evening before.

On February 4 the Valdosta Country Club hosted its annual Daddy Daughter Dance. This year’s theme was Alice in Wonderland, and daddies and daughters danced the night away. The hit of the evening, of course, was the Ice Cream
