TRIPLE “D” CHAMPS

Universal Parks & Resorts has selected the city of Frisco as the area for a new concept theme park. The city was chosen due to its rapidly growing population and ability to attract businesses. The proposed location for the new concept is east of the Dallas North Tollway and north of Panther Creek Parkway. The park is still in the preliminary stages. First, they still need approval from the city, and then the building process will take several years.

SHOTZ KITCHEN
INGREDIENTS 1
- pound ground beef (ground chuck works also)

1 - medium yellow onion (diced)
1 - package chili seasoning mix of your choice
1 - 16 ounce can chili beans (any spice level)
2 - 14.5 ounce cans of diced chili-ready tomatoes with the juice
1/2 cup water
2/3 cup dry pasta like spaghetti (broken into short pieces)
DIRECTIONS
1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef with the onion until no pink remains in the meat. Drain as much of the grease as you can with a spoon.
2. To the pot, add the seasoning, tomatoes, beans, and water. Then stir to combine. If it’s still too thick, you can add 1/2 cup more water until you get to a thickness you like.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer 5 minutes.
4. Add the pasta, return to a simmer, and stir occasionally until the pasta cooks through (8-11 minutes or so). Turn off the heat and serve warm or you can cool your chili to room temperature, refrigerate and reheat as needed.

THE

SHOTZ TECH FAVES
Apple Watch Ultra

Apple has now been making its Watch series for a good few years, most of which have followed roughly the same formula. The Apple Watch Ultra takes all of the good bits of previous designs, and piles as much as possible on top. While the result is a smartwatch that is by no means cheap, it has also resulted in the perfect device for athletes of all practices. Apple has kept divers, climbers, tennis players, martial artists and everyone in-between in mind.
Pro2
Ah yes, the metaverse - the supposed future of our digital world. While this new virtual land hasn’t exactly begun successfully, many tech leaders are still very much of the view that we’ll soon be plugged in, enjoying our own digital house, job and life. If you want to get in now and enjoy the metaverse and virtual reality, the Meta Quest Pro 2 will likely be the best way to do this. Meta, previously known as Facebook, has poured money into this to offer the latest and most impressive specs available in the world of VR.

DJI Mini 3 Pro
Every year, DJI’s Mini series gets smaller and yet more powerful. It offers advanced obstacle avoidance features, a rotating lens so you can film portrait or landscape, 4K video, smart flying features like automatic tracking and the ability to follow a subject. Despite its higher price, this feels like the perfect drone for beginners, those who like to travel, or really anyone in the market for a light-weight, high tech drone.

FATT COREY BIHH

1. What’s your background? Where are you from? What got you into rap music?
- I’m from Oak Cliff, Beckley to be exact. I went to South Oak Cliff High School. I’ve always been into music from when I was a child. I was in the band, then I transitioned to football, but I was always free styling.

2. If it wasn’t for music, where would you be doing now?
- If it wasn’t for music I’d probably be still in the music industry doing something. Right now, I’m in the club scene and throwing parties.
3. Where is your career heading? What’s the vision?
- My music career is hitting and growing. My vision is to make money with my career so I can help out my peers more than what I’m doing now.
4. How would you describe your style of music?
- Trap and R&B, mixed with Drill.
5. If you could perform anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
- I’d like to rap at Rolling Loud events, Coachella, different stadiums, & events like that because the scene looks so lit performing in front of thousands of people.
6. What makes you different from other rappers from the Triple D?
“YO TRACK AIN’T SHIT IF FATT COREY AIN’T
DO THAT
BITCH!!!”
- I think what makes me different is my style, what I stand for in the subjects that I talk about, and the way that I talk about it. I think that’s what makes me different.
7. Who is your superhero alter ego and why?
- If I were a superhero, my alter ego probably would be Deadpool because we’re both goofy as fuck and then still whoop your ass.
8. When it comes to making beats, what’s your style?
- When it comes to producing, I think I’m a little bit everywhere because I can’t just be stuck in one genre.
9. Who are some of the artists that you’ve worked with as far as doing tracks for them?
- I’ve worked with a lot of different artists, local and non-local.
10. Who came up with YO TRACK AIN’T SHIT IF FATT COREY AIN’T DO THAT BITCH?
- Honestly a friend came up with that slogan and I just changed it up a little. Shout out to Deezy.
