Students will learn to compose, choreograph, and conduct as they play — and play with! — a variety of musical instruments: West African drums, percussion instruments, and, the most important instruments of all, their voices and their bodies. As your big kid learns to think and create like a musician, they’ll also build musical connections to the global community. While they are having fun, they’ll be refining focus, dexterity, coordination, and rhythm — all things they’ll use every day for the rest of their lives.
Parents or caregivers are warmly invited to participate along with their child in class but their attendance is not required.

Hip Hop Dance Party
This program is sure to keep students active! Learn upbeat styles such as jazz and hip hop and move to your favorite songs. The students will also learn warm-ups such as stretching, isolations and across the floor exercises! Dance shoes or indoor sneakers are preferred.

Wish Upon a Ballet: The Pirate Fairy
Wish Upon a Ballet is a dance program for children that incorporates popular children’s stories as well as ballet stories to create a dance class that is more than ballet steps. Come join the fun! Students will need ballet shoes and comfortable clothes they can move around in.
