Jr Lifeguarding

Participants interested in beginning their lifeguarding skills will learn about: recognizing a swimmer in distress, rescues for an active swimmer, rule enforcement and customer service, first aid certification.

Snorkeling

Messes and Masterpieces

What’s one thing all great artists have in common? They make a mess, of course! In this camp, we’ll create stunning masterpieces while using some of the coolest, messiest art techniques ever. From Frida Kahlo, Picasso, Salvador Dali and more, each messy masterpiece will be inspired by a different master artist. Kids, you better roll up your sleeves, because no masterpiece was ever made without first making a mess! Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child each day.

Pajama Jam

Painting in your pajamas? Sculpting in your slippers? Why not? In this camp, we’ll create a colorful ring toss game, sculpt a seaworthy ship, make a 3D bug, and so much more, and just for fun, we’ll do it all while wearing our pajamas! Ready, Set, MESS! Art Camp

In this camp, get ready to get messy with some of our most fun projects! Your little one will love getting messy with mosaics, creating with clay, and painting in wacky ways. We’ll even make our own puffy paint so we can paint yummy–looking ice cream cones on real canvas boards. Get ready, get set, and let’s go make a MESS! Smart Art with Kidcreate

Art is smart, and this camp proves it! During this camp we’ll explore S.T.E.A.M. (Science–Technology–Engineering–Art–Math) concepts in creative ways, resulting in fridge–worthy masterpieces, tons of experiential learning, and loads of messy fun. We’ll design our own mini playgrounds, learn about M.C. Escher and Picasso, make our own lava lamps, and more. This is no ordinary S.T.E.A.M. camp! 3D Rainbow Creature Craft with Kidcreate

Drip, drop, splatter, splash! In this class, artists will use a special messy painting technique as they create a colorful paint monster with three–dimensional details. We’ll explore what happens when we mix colors together– how cool! Dress for a mess, then leave the cleanup to us. Come create right along with your child; children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Nailed It! with Kidcreate

Calling all creative kids! This is the perfect camp to hone both your artistic side and your puzzle–solving skills. Just like on the popular TV show Nailed It!, we’ll show you a final product and give you all the goods needed to recreate it. The rest is up to you! Your challenges will include creating a unicorn cake sculpture that looks good enough to eat, painting a fox at sunset, a llama with a flower crown, and so much more. We can’t wait to see if you can nail it! This is Nailed It! Kidcreate–style, so instead of baking, we’ll be sculpting, painting, collaging, and more! STEAM Camps

Pokémania STEAM Adventure

Work on a stop–motion animated Pokémon–themed film. Pick your favorite characters to star in your mini–movie. The possibilities are endless! Students will build Pokémon–inspired sets and props to create an animated game and stop–motion short. Students will also participate in other Pokémon–related STEAM activities. Bring a USB drive on the last day. Students will be working in pairs.

Intro to Video Game Design with Nintendo Characters

Create YOUR OWN VIDEO GAME! Students as young as five can create their platform video games in this great class! Choose your storyline with popular Nintendo characters as your stars. Add challenges and difficulty levels. Then, share your game by email or post it on the web to challenge family and friends. Now students between 5 and 8 years old can practice math, logic, and programming and put their video game talents to work! Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day.

intro to 3D Printing & CAD

This 3D printing camp takes students through the 3D printing process from start to finish. Students will design 3D objects using TinkerCAD and the 3D slicing program Cura to bring their creations to life. From industrial design and manufacturing to software and hardware engineering, the 3D printing industry is booming. This course is an excellent introduction to 3D printing and is ideal for students who like to draw, design, imagine, and see their creations come to life. Printing and material fees are included. Students will get to bring home two of their 3D creations.

3rd Lair Skateboard Camp

Instructors will help each camper develop their skateboarding skills, learn about skatepark safety and etiquette and have fun. Students of all skill levels are welcome.

Little Strikers Bowling Camp

Playball! Mn Twins Baseball Clinic

This clinic teaches basic fundamentals, including hitting, throwing, and defense in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. Instruction is provided by qualified coaches. The Twins Community Fund provides all of the equipment for the clinic.

Girls Volleyball Camp

Come join local high school coach, Tom Weko, for two weeks of learning the game of volleyball. Players will be grouped by grade and playing ability with a maximum 8:1 player to coach ratio. Fundamental skills will be taught based on age and ability. Current high school players as well as former and current college players will help provide instruction each day. Participants should bring knee pads, wide wristbands (optional), water bottle, and a great attitude. Participants will receive a t–shirt.

SPORTS UNLIMITED

These camps provide fundamental skill development with an emphasis on fun! Players learn the core skills and techniques used in each sport and then practice these skills in a number of games and scrimmages. All campers receive quality instruction, a water bottle and a sportsmanship award.
