It was wonderful to reconnect and welcome back several families over Thanksgiving weekend. We have so much to be thankful for within our community, and it’s what inspires new Memberships. We had the pleasure of welcoming three new families in November: Katie Benson & Adam Haley, Craig & Jolie Lickley, and Jacob & Colleen Jarvis. All of whom are well-versed with our offerings and have deep connections to our region. Please join me in welcoming them to our Club this season.
The Holidays are upon us, and we have a full slate of events this month for your family’s enjoyment. A new tradition begins this year with our bi-annual cocktail party, the first of which is being held on New Year’s Eve. As a community, we will say farewell to a wonderful 2025 and ring in 2026 with style. The culinary team will be on showcase and we, of course, will complement their efforts with a spirit tasting, wine stations, and a hosted bar!
As weather permits, our winter offerings will come online. Your hub for all things Club this winter season will be at the Golf Shop’s Nordic Center. That’s right, the shop is open daily with new merchandise, including the luxury ski & golf brand KJUS, which is only available within the Whitetail Club gates! Visit our Head Golf Professional, Andrew Elaimy and the Member Services team to get some last-minute Christmas gifts for you and yours, or simply relax with a beverage by the fireplace. There is still time to take advantage of the exclusive online KJUS offering through December 4.
Speaking of an online store, Whitetail Club is proud to offer another convenient way to either indulge or share the brand. This month, we will launch a one-stop, custom shop that delivers directly to your doorstep. From glassware to Carhartt’s, we have you covered.
It is hard to articulate the enhancements we are making to our event line-up in 2026…in short, they will be more than memorable. That said, we have prepared a ahead of our annual calendar delivery in the coming weeks, which is featured on page 6. For more information on events, please see the portal or contact me or the Club Concierge.
We are making some adjustments to our hours of operation and offerings in 2026. Our goal is to create more consistency with relation to our usage patterns while being more mindful of our resources. Complete details are provided in the Take Note section on page 10.

Happy Hour at The Bar
Our Happy Hour at The Bar on December 5 sets the tone for the month with tastings of Moët Hennessy’s luxurious wines and spirits. Live music by Jordan Shaw will complement the evening.
Breakfast with Santa
Next our heartwarming annual tradition Breakfast with Santa on December 14, will feature a family-friendly buffet of favorites, including fluffy scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, and a pancake & French toast station. Santa and his elves will park their sleigh in front of the Upper Pavilion at Shore Lodge and greet everyone, while the children can take home a souvenir photo. This event sets the tone for a month filled with wonder.
Ugly Sweater Party
Then, on December 20, it’s time to turn up the holiday cheer at the Ugly Sweater Party at the Fish & Swim Club and flaunt the most outrageous holiday sweaters—flashing lights, clashing colors, and too much tinsel. The tackier, the better for a chance to win the “Ugliest Sweater” title at Whitetail Club. The chilly weather outside will complement our hot cocoa and treats, making it a night of laughter and lighthearted fun.
Gingerbread House Decorating Party
The following day, our younger members get a chance to let their creativity take center stage at the Gingerbread House Decorating Party. This year, the edible masterpieces will be on display at the clubhouse through Christmas.
Private Ice-Skating Party
Another family-friendly event will follow on December 23: our first Private Ice-Skating Party at McCall’s intown ice rink. This year, we’ve moved ice skating indoors and onto a much larger rink, so the conditions will be perfect for an afternoon of fun and games on the ice.
Sledding Party
Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve, the clubhouse transforms into a culinary wonderland with a buffet-style dinner curated by Chef Tyler and his team. From savory starters to sweet desserts, this evening is all about gathering with loved ones and creating lasting holiday memories as we head into the new year.
Christmas Day
On Christmas Day, the clubhouse will be closed, but Christmas Dinner will be served at Shore Lodge. Please reach out to the Club Concierge if you need reservations.
The fun continues with the annual Sledding Party on December 27. Meet us at the sledding hill and bring your own tube—or borrow one of ours—to enjoy thrilling rides, all with the help of the Argo shuttle. These are special moments: gathered around the fire, eating s’mores and roasted hot dogs, and drinking hot chocolate.
Complimentary Wine Tasting
That evening, members 21+ are invited to have fun indoors at the clubhouse for the Complimentary Wine Tasting. This month, we are hosting Jackie Elo of Amphora Wine Company, sharing French wines and Champagne from boutique producers. If you like something you taste, you’ll be able to purchase a bottle to bring home.

A New Offering at the Golf Shop Nordic Center MEET US at the
We are excited to share an improved experience for our membership that begins now. During the time of year when the golf course closes for the season, the Golf Shop will become a Nordic Center. This will serve as a central gathering place to meet friends, enjoy a drink in front of the fire, and set off on an adventure on the groomed Nordic ski trails with an optional starting point from the 10th tee.
All the winter sports equipment, such as Nordic skis and snowshoes, has been moved from The Trailhead building to the Golf Shop—a more convenient and comfortable place to start these winter activities. As most of you know, this location is equipped with locker rooms as well, making outdoor pursuits that much easier.
Once the trails are open and ready for use, The Golf Shop’s Nordic Center will be open daily from 8am - 6pm, with equipment rental services and merchandise available from 10am - 6pm. The trails can be accessed from dawn to dusk.
For those looking to continue working on their golf game in the off-season, the golf simulators will also be available from 10am - 6pm. Book your golf simulator session via the member portal or app.
When visiting the Nordic Center, you can enjoy a complimentary beverage selection, including sodas, beer, wine, and canned cocktails. On special occasions, we’ll feature signature cocktails and a limited menu.
