Dear Whitetail Club Members,
I am excited to welcome the start of a new month; our team is working full speed ahead, preparing for our upcoming events while addressing our need to fill a couple of critical positions.
Although Jocelyn is now on to the next chapter of her career, I want to thank her for her tenure and the contributions she made at Whitetail Club. We will continue implementing proficient systems for our membership and are committed to delivering an optimal member experience.
On the hiring front, I am actively conducting on-site interviews with the team to fill the Head Golf Professional position.
As expected, there has been a tremendous amount of interest in being part of our community so the selection process has taken time to vet out potential candidates. I look forward to sharing an update soon for this role. As for the Club Director, this selection process has begun earnestly and will remain at the top of my priority list.
Until then, our Whitetail team will remain focused and proceed to do their part in the overall scheme of our operation. Our Club Concierge, Amanda Callahan, will continue to answer all member inquiries and manage member reservations. As we approach our busiest season of the year, our executive assistant, Jen Lane, will be instrumental in ensuring that any questions or follow-up needed on your behalf are presented and addressed.
From our Winter Yurt Dinner to our Member's Only Cooking Class, March is shaping up to be great! If I don’t see you before, I wish you and yours a blessed Easter.
As always, contact Amanda Callahan, the Club's Concierge, at clubconcierge@whitetailclub.com or me at tgarcia@whitetailclub.com with any questions.
Sincerely,
Tom E. Garcia

Hot Springs
Trail Creek Hot Springs
Winter is a magical season in McCall, characterized by snow-capped mountains, a frozen lake, and frosted forests. And while roaring fire pits, thermal clothing, and hot beverages offer a respite from the elements, Idaho's natural hot springs are another, more organic way to find warmth and relaxation this season. Explore three of these natural wonders just a short drive from Whitetail Club.

GEOTHERMAL ESCAPES
formed by rock formations in a flow-through system offering temperatures ranging from 85 to 110°F, with a separate sandy pool designated for children. Featuring heated changing rooms, geothermal heated sidewalks, and well-plowed roads during the winter, enjoy a spontaneous therapeutic soak at Gold Fork anytime with the family, as reservations aren't required.
Burgdorf Hot Springs | McCall, Idaho
50 minutes from home
For adventure enthusiasts, Burgdorf Hot Springs provides a unique experience during the winter season, as it is only accessible by snowmobile, adding an exciting element to your visit. Nestled in the mountains of Payette National Forest 32 miles north of our private community, the Burgdorf Hot Springs offers heated dressing rooms and a rustic feel with three historic log-sided pools that maintain an average temperature of 113°F. Offering a two-hour block for day soaks and accepting reservations up to 90 days in advance, it's the perfect place to book a soothing winter retreat.
Trail Creek Hot Springs | Cascade, Idaho 1 hour from home
Nearly a 48-mile drive southeast of Whitetail Club and only accessible by a 60-foot-long trail near the west end of the parking area, the Trail Creek Hot Springs feature two soaking pools made of rock and sand for those seeking a unique off-the-grid adventure. The hot water that flows from a fissure in the rocks feeds the pools, and the temperature is naturally regulated by the cold creek water that runs alongside. As this is a primitive hot spring, no reservations are necessary, allowing you to enjoy a warm soak anytime. Wear your bathing suit under your winter gear, as no changing rooms are accessible at this hot spring
Planning Ahead
When visiting local hot springs during winter, ensure to pack accordingly. Bathing suits are required in all springs, and it's a good rule of thumb to put them on under warm layers to save time when you arrive. Remember to bring towels, a water bottle, a thermos of something hot, and snacks to enjoy during your visit. There won't be many places to stop and refuel, and soaking in the hot springs can leave you hungry.

TOUR DE FRANCE WINEMAKER ’ S DINNER
AT 6PM
Join us on Saturday, April 20, at 6pm for our Tour De France Winemaker’s Dinner as we traverse the European Atlantic Ocean to enjoy the best wines from the Bordeaux region, widely regarded as the finest wine in the world. Enjoy esteemed wines paired with a five-course French-inspired menu featuring French delicacies.
Unlike many other wine-producing regions, French wine is not merely a product of grape varietals; it embodies the soul of its terroir—the unique soil, climate, sunlight, and minerals specific to each vineyard.
To accompany the esteemed wines, it only seemed right to develop a French-inspired menu. From delectable appetizers featuring Panisses and Gougères to French delicacies like Escargot paired with Tagliatelle and Truffle, this Winemaker’s Dinner is unlike any other we’ve hosted.
