DIRECTOR'S NOTE

Dear Whitetail Club Membership, As many of you experienced firsthand, January brought us unseasonably warm temperatures. With early February forecasts showing more of the same, we may be unable to maintain the winter amenities for member use. We will monitor this daily. The weather could affect a few scheduled clinics, specifically our Skate Skills & Skate Ski programs. As we near the scheduled dates, we'll contact the membership should we need to reschedule. As we experience cooler temperatures and more snow accumulation, we look forward to providing a more consistent experience with these fantastic seasonal amenities. Stay tuned for updates. Join us at the annual Winter Signature event, scheduled for Saturday, February 24th, for a live-action evening of the game of Clue. Guests will work together to investigate a murder and uncover clues about the killer, their motives, and other key pieces of evidence. By the night's end, your team will try to guess who did it, how they did it, and why. A team of professional actors will facilitate this Murder Mystery party, and the event is open to members and their guests. And though family-friendly, this event is recommended for ages 13 and up. Contact Amanda at the Concierge desk today for questions or to confirm your participation. Speaking of Amanda, last week we hosted our annual employee appreciation event where we recognized all team members nominated this past year for Employee of the Month or Manager of the Quarter. In addition, we also announced both our 2023 Employee of the Year & Manager of the Year recipients. I am thrilled that Amanda Callahan, Whitetail Club Concierge, was awarded the 2023 Employee of the Year. Nick Korthals, Assistant Golf Course Superintendent, was recognized as our 2023 Manager of the Year. I couldn't be more proud of our Whitetail Club team. Simply amazing. As shared in an email from Tom Garcia, I recently accepted a position with Martis Camp, a private club and residential community in Truckee, California. Robert and I will be leaving McCall later this month to relocate. I struggle to describe how much my time here at Whitetail Club, working with this incredible team, and being a part of this special mountain town has meant to me. I will be eternally grateful for the personal and professional growth opportunities it has provided. Change is hard, and I find that the unknown is scary, but I am excited for this next chapter and confident (without a doubt) that the future of Whitetail Club is bright. A sincere thank you to the entire membership for your support over these last ten years, and I look forward to our paths crossing again…hopefully in the not-too-distant future. Take great care.

now isn't the only thing flying here in McCall, Idaho. Hammers, saws, and concrete mixers have been working their magic through the fall season and right into the start of the New Year, producing some incredible mountain-lake homes. This month we are sharing

behind-the-scenes access to the building process as we head into the winter, where interior buildouts and finishes are taking center stage. For the full update, scan the QR code.

This fall, we completed all the requirements for a warm and inviting home. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and all low-voltage work are now installed and ready. To ensure an airtight environment to work within during the winter season, all windows and exterior doors have been installed and insulation throughout the home. The drywall work has begun, which is when the interiors start to take shape. We’ve been working diligently to complete the breathtaking exterior of this home. The façade’s powerful stone accents and modern siding are all in place. Inside the house, we have completed all interior painting, accompanied by all interior doors and expert finish carpentry. We continue focusing on wood with a beautiful flooring installation, followed by exquisite cabinetry. The tile installation for the flooring and bathrooms is in progress and is scheduled to be finished in early February. When working on sites like this that sit at the top of the world, preparing the home for winter is paramount. Construction of the physical structure is complete, and the exterior stone is currently being installed under heated tents to ensure precision and steadfastness. The fireplaces are now in place, and the sturdy metal roof will be installed this month, as well as all electrical work. The interior finishes will begin this month after the electrical rough-in and insulation are complete.

3 Fairways Townhomes are currently under construction. 362 Sunshine Drive – Bentgrass The exterior siding and interior drywall are complete. Next up, interior painting and exterior stone.

364 Sunshine Drive – Pencross With the windows delivered and interior plumbing roughed in, our next step will be to focus on the mechanical and electrical work.

For more information on these homes, or any homes at Whitetail Club, contact our sales team today by clicking here or calling 877.634.1725 for Discovery Tour information.

370 Sunshine Drive – Pencross In addition to the full-scale plumbing and electrical work, all the aspects of a world class kitchen are being installed.
