We hope this letter finds you well and enjoying your summer at Whitetail Club. Wow – I can't believe we are moving into August and the "dog days of summer." Popsicle season is here! While August brings kids back to school and shorter days, plenty of fun warm-weather activities are planned throughout the month.
As we look back on July, it's been a full one! We've done some fishing – derby style, which was a hit for some of our younger members. I'm impressed with how McCall and Whitetail Club celebrate our Independence. The 4th of July weekend provided a bustling Clubhouse, and our outlets and amenities were high-spirited.
The 9 & Dine event at the golf course was well attended, and the setting between the 11th green and 12th tee box provided an exemplary culinary experience by Chef Marcus and his team. We held three of our highlighted golf tournaments in July and then wrapped up the golf events for the month with one of our more entertaining spectacles – Caddies and Cocktails. We hosted our 1st annual River Rafting event on the Salmon River and navigated some exhilarating whitewater. The participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and we are excited to expand upon this successful event in the future. Speaking of feedback, we invite you to continue to share it. I've enjoyed meeting many of you and building long-term relationships with you and your families.
Wrapping up our recap of July, it's been a fun start to summer! We will embrace the momentum heading into August, with our Men's Invitational right around the corner, followed by Family Fun Golf (08.15), Men's and Ladies Club Championship (08.17-08.18), and 9 & Dine on (08.31).
Congratulations to our July golf tourney winners! Check out the Winners Circle in the Round-Up.
The golf course is one of many venues that will be vibrant this month. We look forward to seeing you for our first Dive-In Movie on 08.02 and our summer fun Luau on 08.03, and for the Summer Concert on 08.10 – featuring Generation Radio, a rock'n compilation of musicians performing timeless hits from Chicago, Whitesnake, Journey, and Rascal Flatts. The annual ATV trip will set out on 08.20 to explore the backcountry for three days and two nights. Finally, we will host a Pickleball Tournament the weekend of 08.24-08.25, with a Member Mixer on the night of the 24th.
With all the events and activities happening it at the club, we have some important reminders to share in the Take Note section. Please read page 14 for club reminders, including the new water-wise practices from the City of McCall.
Thank you, again, for the warm welcome as your new Club Director. I'm thrilled to move my family from Colorado and settle in McCall as the final stage of our transition to life in Idaho. Moving is rarely fun, but the adventure of it all is very exciting. You are part of our adventure, and it is and will be important to me that your family consistently enjoys your Whitetail Club experience and makes positive memories that last a lifetime.
Best Regards,
Joe Robinson

Behind The Build
at Whitetail Club Episode One
The buy-and-build season is in full swing. It is a time when so many browse our homesites, pick their favorite canvas, and connect with architects and builders to start constructing the Western Idaho mountain home they have dreamt about. It is a journey that needs inspiration, guidance, and vision. To that end, we wanted to share our Behind the Build series, featuring recent homes built at Whitetail Club. This is where members and their expert teams give the scoop on how they built their home and what the experience was like.
For our first episode, we embark on a journey from dreams to reality, where the Moss family transformed inspirational reference images into a sophisticated architectural structure. Building this mountain modern home amidst the Pacific Northwest's demanding weather conditions required an elevated architectural design approach.
Watch the film here:
Discover more about the Moss's building process and how their team of architects and builders created this incredible family home at Whitetail Club.
“ The way that we built the Moss’s home not only allows it to be energy efficient, but it is something he can pass down to his kids, and they’ll be able to pass it down to their kids.”
Dusty Bitton, Co-Owner & Manager at Pinetop Custom Homes
“ We work together to devise a plan, we execute the build, and we create the vision that all parties involved can be proud of.”
Carrie Potter, Co-Owner & CFO at Pinetop Custom Homes
STARGAZING TRAILBLAZING
Our annual ATV Camping Trip takes off on August 20 for a thrilling 3-day and 2-night expedition through the backcountry riding RZRs. This off-the-grid adventure will take Members to the historic Big Creek Lodge on the lip of Idaho's famous Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. This location is so remote and only accessible by bush plane or dirt road, allowing us to experience breathtaking views during the daytime and dark, starry nights in the evening. The Big Creek (a tributary of the Middle Fork Salmon River) flows near the Lodge, and the campground allows for catch-and-release trout fishing.
During the day, we will explore the trails with various excursions. In the evening, we have a choice of activities, including yard games, fishing, mountain bikes, and a big campfire area by the Lodge with s'mores fixings.
Whitetail Club will help you arrange your preferred camping accommodation, arrange the set-up at basecamp, coordinate the RZR rental, and provide meals throughout the trip.

After a hearty breakfast, the group will embark on a day of exciting excursions with boxed lunches to enjoy along the way. Upon arriving back at camp around 4pm the afternoon will be filled with fun camp games and dinner. We will close the day with a campfire and s'mores under the stars.
Our last of the adventure we will fuel up and start the journey back to Whitetail Club. Snacks will be provided during the ride to keep everyone energized. We estimate arriving around 4pm.
Don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure! This event has limited capacity, so reservations are highly recommended to secure your spot on this thrilling adventure.

Tee Time
Dear Whitetail Club Members,
August has arrived, bringing long summer days that are perfect for enjoying our beautiful course. The greens are rolling true, the fairways are lush, and the views are as spectacular as ever. Your continued support and enthusiasm make Whitetail Club a truly special place.
We're thrilled to start the month with our prestigious Men's Invitational, which will be held from August 7 to 10. This four-day event promises exciting competition, camaraderie, and some of the best golf of the season. Whether you're participating or spectating, it's sure to be a highlight of our golfing calendar.
Mark your calendars for August 15 as we introduce our first-ever "Family Fun Golf Evening." This event is designed for golfers of all ages and skill levels and features a variety of fun challenges and games. It's a perfect opportunity to introduce younger family members to the joy of golf in a relaxed, entertaining setting.
Don't miss our popular 9 & Dine on August 31 to round out the month. Enjoy a leisurely round of twilight golf followed by
a delicious dinner at The Cart Barn. It's an excellent way to close out the summer season with good food and great company.
Our Golf Shop is fully stocked with the latest gear and apparel for the season. Check out our new arrivals and take advantage of member-exclusive discounts throughout August.
As always, we value your feedback and suggestions. Your input helps us continually enhance your Whitetail Club experience.
Thank you for your ongoing support and participation. We look forward to seeing you on the course and at our events throughout August.
Sincerely,
Andrew Elaimy
Dear Whitetail Club Members,
We hope your summer has been going great! As you all know, the temperature in McCall has been well above our normal average high. We appreciate your understanding and patience with sprinklers and hand watering during the day throughout this heat-stress period.
Thank you for supporting our Private Golf Cart Turf Tire Protocol. If you have any questions about whether your tires are approved, please contact Nick Korthals or me. This is a friendly reminder that extended chassis carts will not be permitted in 2025.
We recently received feedback that the blue flags on the greens are difficult to see. We’ve decided to stay with the blue/white tournament flags that we used for the MemberMember tournament. Hopefully, that resolves the issue for the remainder of the season. As a reminder, please keep
golf carts at least 50 feet from the greens and tees. Thank you for your cooperation.
We have some irrigation and drainage projects planned for this fall. This will help improve turf conditions on both sides of the spectrum.
We look forward to seeing you all enjoying the golf course for the rest of the season!
Sincerely,
Adam Lott

Reminders
The new city code asks property owners to water their landscape on alternate days. Based on the last number in your address, if odd, water on odd days of the month. If the last number in your address is even, then plan to water on even days of the month.
Clubhouse dining reservations on the weekend are regularly full, and therefore specific table requests can’t always be accommodated. We highly encourage making reservations but that’s not a guarantee that the table will be on the patio or in the location of your choice.
Improvements to the air conditioning system have helped regulate the temperature of our Indoor Tennis & Fitness Center making the center more comfortable to all. Note that this facility experiences high usage between the hours of 9am and noon every day. Please make sure that your children are supervised when using our facilities, as your safety and that of your family is our top priority.
With an increase of people using our roads and recreational paths please pay close attention to your speed and remind those who may be visiting to do the same.
Some recreation paths have been closed due to private lot development, and this will be the case as we continue to grow. Please respect your neighbors' property and do not cross over property lines, even if it was accessible in the past.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Construction Update Summer ‘24
It’s been a busy summer!
We are sharing the latest construction update on what’s been happening. To read the full story on the properties below, scan the QR.
5608 Appaloosa Trail 660 Aster Court
Bridging the gap between McCall’s natural beauty and the simplicity of Scandinavian architecture, 5608 Appaloosa Trail is now completed. The open floor living design is inviting and bright.
With the framing and structural buildout of this home in place, the core focus for the last three months has been adding all the interior details.
364 Sunshine Drive
Overlooking the thirteenth-hole of our championship golf course, 364 Sunshine Drive has steadily progressed throughout the summer and has an completion date of November 2024.
The Fairways Townhomes
Construction has started on both homes that sit within our Fairways Townhomes community. Surrounded by Ponderosa Pines and scenic views of our 12th hole, the external framework has been completed. An estimated completion date of summer 2025 is expected.
