Dear Whitetail Club Members,

July at Whitetail Club is packed full of programming and events for the entire family to enjoy. Specifically, I would like to highlight one event in particular, our first-ever Summer Luau on Saturday, July 29. We’ll close down the lakefront clubhouse for this event. All ages are welcome to join and enjoy this festive experience featuring authentic cuisine, live music, and traditional Polynesian dancers. The ambiance, lit tiki torches, wind from the lake, and sunset will round off what will undoubtedly be a fabulous evening. Make sure to make your reservations today. This event is not to be missed!

We understand that lake access is an essential part of the summer experience at Whitetail Club, and because of this, we have dedicated this issue of the Trailblazer’s main editorial to life on the water and the fleet of boats available to you as a club member. We are thrilled to have added a second surfboat and a third pontoon boat to our existing fleet this season. All rentals are booked through the Whitetail Club Concierge desk. Reach out today for availability and a reminder that you can also confirm a captain with notice. We’ll take the wheel while you sit back and relax.

A few housekeeping items:

• A request from The Golf Shop team for all golfers to check in at The Golf Shop prior to teeing off. Please do not head to the first tee without coming in and saying hello first. Thank you in advance for your assistance with this.

• Our Safety & Security Team would like to remind the membership that should you need to confirm additional FOBs for gate access or the Narnia Door, please contact them directly at security@whitetailclub.com. You can also find important contact information under Club Contacts on the Whitetail Club Member Portal and app.

• And, if you still need to pick up your complimentary water bottles, make sure to request yours next time you visit the Club Concierge desk or The Golf Shop.

The quintessential McCall experience seems to always include the month of July. 2023 will be no exception. We have a month jam-packed with member events that are sure to give all our golfers a chance to take advantage of the long summer days while enjoying our golf course in its best condition.

Just a reminder, our Jr. Golf Clinics are on Thursdays every week at 10am. We no longer have Jr. Golf Clinics scheduled on Fridays.

As we enjoy our golf course, I would like to thank our Golf Course Maintenance team for their hard work. The science of agronomy in the Rocky Mountains is a fickle task. Our crew provides their mastery daily, and we could not be more grateful. Let’s all help them out. When on the golf course, we ask that all golf carts remain on the cart path when near

teeing areas and putting greens. This will undoubtedly assist the team in maintaining the optimum turf playability around the greens and the ideal aesthetics around the tees.
