A MONtH OF MCCALL MAGiC

A new year brings a new and exciting calendar of events. The schedule is packed with lots of our annual favorites, but sprinkled in, are a handful of unique experiences the whole family can enjoy. By now, you should have received your 2023 calendars in the mail. If your copy never made it to your mailbox, please reach out, and we’ll get a replacement out to you right away.
I am thrilled to highlight a few new additions to the calendar this year, starting with our Winter Spirit Series. A three-part educational event focusing on Bourbon, Scotch & Tequila (respectively). Tastings and signature cocktail ideas will round out each session.
Need a break from the snow? This February, we’ll have a hip-hop dance class that everyone can get down to. Perfect for a date night or a fun outing with the ladies, all (including guests) are welcome.
This summer, plan to attend our first ever Luau. You’ll experience a traditional Hawaiian feast, fire dancers, great music and more. The whole family will enjoy this epic evening. And there’s plenty more where these came from. Stay tuned to your regularly scheduled club communications for details on all upcoming events.
On the same note as our 2023 calendars, I would like to thank a few of our younger members that submitted their drawings to be included in our 2023 kids’ calendar. Bill, Paityn, Kate, Makena, Ellie, Ava & Rigley; great job! You all did fantastic!
All of our winter amenities (including the rink, Nordic trails, and sledding hill) are open. Make sure to refer
to the Whitetail Club Member Portal or app for regular updates and condition reports. The Trailhead building is where you can find your complimentary Nordic equipment, ice skates, and snowshoes. Please remember that this equipment is for day use only. It’s not to be taken off the property and should be returned after each use. If you need assistance with any of the equipment available, please contact the Member Services or Concierge team.
Our annual Winter Signature Event is scheduled for Saturday, January 28, and we’re thrilled to welcome Joseph Tran to the stage this year. Hailed as one of the top magicians in the industry, he’s a regular at LA’s famed Magic Castle and has performed on the James Corden show and for some of the hottest celebrities. This is a great way to spend the evening with friends, and all ages are encouraged to attend. Guests are welcome, and a full bar will be available. A reminder that this is a post-dinner event and that it’s never too early to get your dinner reservations confirmed.
Welcome to our newest members, the Scatterday Family. We look forward to seeing you around the neighborhood.
Sincerely,
With a month of celebrations ahead, Cory Strobaugh, Manager of The Narrows Steakhouse & The Bar, hand-selected bottles along with the perfect dish to serve at your next gathering.
If you’re in need of an extra glass of sparkling champagne to ensure your New Year’s resolutions truly come true, try the distinctive and subtle undertones of citrus fruit, white flowers, and almonds with a glass of Champagne Palmer Blanc de Blancs accompanied by baked Brie on a toasted baguette. The champagne’s acidity cuts through the Brie’s creaminess, making this a perfect pairing.
Better yet, wine down with your guests with the full-bodied and ultra-fine tannins finish of a bottle of 2017 Produttori del Barbaresco. Its fruity undertones heavily highlight the rich and tender profile of Bison Lasagna paired with a basilalmond pesto, tomato crema, and béchamel-burrata sauce.
In the mood for something more fresh and balanced? The 2019 Conundrum White by Caymus promises a zesty and crisp taste that brings out the delicious flavor of Shrimp Tempura paired with spicy aioli, chili-ginger oil, and leafy greens. The wines’ blend of sweet esoteric white grapes with the combination of spicy aioli and chili-ginger oil provide for the ultimate bite.
If you’re interested in hosting a holiday party with any of the bottles and their accompanied dish featured above, please contact Cory Strobaugh at 208.630.0267 through our Member Wine Buying program, granting you quality service at your fingertips.
