Dear Whitetail Club Members,

I’m very pleased to share that Whitetail Club has been included in the Top 150 Country Clubs by the Platinum Clubs of America for 2023-24. Coming in at a very respectable 118, our vision has always been to create a world-class residential community supported by a fully amenitized members club, yearround events & programming, and a robust culinary offering. I’m proud to be part of a team that strives to meet these goals daily. Refer to page 15 for more information on this exciting achievement.

We’ll host our first-ever Whitetail Club 5k Turkey Trot this Thanksgiving. Whether you’re walking, jogging, skipping, or running, we’d love to see you there. Members & their guests, along with our (leashed) 4-legged family members, are invited to participate. We’ll begin and end at The Fish & Swim Club, where post-run snacks will be provided before we depart to enjoy what the rest of the day has in store. Contact the Club Concierge for more details.

To our property owners, the Annual Whitetail Property Owners Association meeting is scheduled for December 29. Similar to the last few years, this meeting will be held via zoom. Details will be mailed out in the coming weeks and will be followed up with emailed reminders. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or requests for items to be included on the agenda.

This year’s New Year’s Eve celebration theme is Disco Chic. Dust off the sequins and polyester, don anything that Glitters Like Gold and get ready to ring

the new year in, getting down to all the classics, including I Will Survive, Stayin’ Alive, YMCA, and Disco Inferno. For more details or to RSVP for our NYE party or any of our holiday events, please refer to your weekly and monthly club communications or contact the Club Concierge for details.

It seems like we went from fall to winter overnight, and with these cooler temperatures, many have reached out with inquiries on when our winter amenities, including our ice rink, Nordic trails, and sledding hill, might be ready. Our goal is always to have these open to the membership by the holiday season, but should Mother Nature allow us to open any earlier, we look forward to taking advantage of her generosity. Stay tuned to our regularly scheduled Club communications for updates.

Wishing you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving,

Sincerely,

Director’s Note

Gingerbread House Decorating 12.22

Home is where the gingerbread is – or at least, that’s the case for our Gingerbread House Decorating event at the clubhouse! Design Build (pun-intended) your dream home while singing along to Christmas tunes and watching holiday movie classics. Whether you choose a colorful gumdrop roof, candy cane archway, or sprinkled driveway, get crafty and partake in this classic Whitetail Club tradition. Luckily for you, you’ll have a delicious, beautifully designed sweet treat to enjoy afterward.

Take a Dip

The outdoor heated pools at Shore Lodge are open in the fall and winter for year-round swimming. Swimming is a great way to play, get some exercise, and the heated water feels great when its cold outside.

Christmas Eve Dinner 12.24

Eat, drink, and be merry at our Christmas Eve Dinner at the clubhouse restaurant. The holiday season is best spent with friends and family, and we’d love to host you and your crew as you spend Christmas Eve together! Chef Marcus will prepare traditional holiday dinner favorites; stay tuned later in the month for the complete menu. Seating will be limited, so make your reservation soon if you plan on spending Christmas Eve with us. Please note that the clubhouse will be closed on Christmas Day.

Sledding Party 12.28

Between Christmas and New Year’s Eve is a week of festive fun, and the annual Sledding Party is one of our favorites! Bundle up in your warmest winter gear and get your adrenaline pumping with downhill thrill adventures! Hosted at the Whitetail Club Sledding Hill, the Argo will tow you to the top, and you’ll sled down, feeling the cool air as you effortlessly glide across the snow. To get you feeling toasty again, we’ll serve hot chocolate, hearty soup, roasted hot dogs, and toasted smores over our fire pit. Classic Hot Toddies will be on hand for the adults.

Rally at the Rink 12.30

Get on the ice at the first Rally at the Rink of the season! We will have live music, a full no-host bar, and fire pits for a warm spot to sit down and relax. And what’s more, the Whitetail Club food truck will serve a delicious lunch menu so you can purchase a meal and refuel between your rounds on the ice. Bring your own skates, or let us know if you need to borrow some of the complimentary skates.

If you’re interested in participating in any of these holiday festivities, please contact the Club Concierge at clubconcierge@whitetailclub.com or 208.630.0245 to RSVP.
