And just like that, a new year begins.
If you haven’t already, you’ll be receiving our 2022 calendar of events in the mail. We’ve sprinkled in a handful of new events to complement our portfolio of annual favorites. Right out of the gate, and to help kick off our community’s Winter Carnival week, we’ll be welcoming Super Diamond to Whitetail Club for the Winter Signature Event. A tribute to the much loved, international pop icon Neil Diamond, Super Diamond will perform all the classics including ‘Sweet Caroline, America, Cracklin’ Rosie, Cherry Cherry, Forever in Blue Jeans, and many more. Recognized by Neil Diamond himself, Super Diamond has amassed quite the following (including myself… there are pictures to prove it), playing nationally and internationally. Join us for this family-friendly event, and invite fellow music enthusiasts - guests are welcome! Whitetail Club’s Nordic Ski Track and Sledding Hill are open for the season. Refer to the Whitetail Club Member portal, app, and other club communications for condition reports.
As in the past, equipment is available for singleday use only and must be signed out and signed back in with each use. Please do not take any of the club equipment home with you. Maps, coffee, a storage area, and other items are available for you at The Trailhead, as well. Have fun! The membership department remains busy, as six new families joined Whitetail Club this past month. John & Kathi Chulick, Ben Schwartz & Emily Stegner-Schwartz, Stephen & Melissa Reller, John & Sara Peterson, Chris & Whitney Firestone, and Betty Anne Hoehn, we’re thrilled to welcome you all to the Whitetail Club family. A reminder that The Trailhead building is where you’ll find your Nordic skis, ice skates, and snowshoes. We will no longer be keeping the equipment in The Fish & Swim Club. Please remember, winter gear is complimentary to members and is available on a first-come, firstserve basis. This new facility is located at the far end of The Fish & Swim Club parking lot.

Remember: all of our winter gear is available to members and their guests on a first come, first served basis and are intended for on-property use only.

McCall’s famed Winter Carnival is back in business for 2022, and we are psyched! With its return, the 10-day event will focus on returning to the city’s roots, celebrating McCall’s traditions, winter culture, and tight-knit community. The return of the carnival will include your favorite events: from the Local Snow Sculpture Contest to the McPaws Monster Dog Sled Pull. From the Beard and Leg contest to the Local Talent Show. Even the crowd-favorite Mardi Gras Parade will be back for a triumphant return.
