Dear Whitetail Club Members,
Lately, the weather has been cold and clear, making it ideal for the sledding hill, ice rink, and Nordic track conditions. Skates and skis are available for complimentary use and located in the Trailhead building. The equipment needs to be signed out (and back in) with each use. And a reminder to please not take the equipment off the property. Sleds are also available and kept in the ‘sled shack’ at the sledding hill. For up-to-date condition reports, make sure to look at the Whitetail Club app. If you need a reminder on how to access the app, please reach out to the Whitetail Club concierge at clubconcierge@whitetailclub.com. We welcomed 4 new families to Whitetail Club this past month. Matt & Lindsay Bauscher, Ryan & Lori VanAlfen, Lance & Sarah Fedderly, Arman Haghighi & Rebecca Finder, we look forward to seeing you around the Club. Thank you to all our members that participated in our holiday events. It was such a pleasure to see so many familiar faces around the Club, and so many fun memories were made as we closed out one year and rang in a new one. For photos of our sledding party, gingerbread event, and New Year’s Eve celebration where we transported back in time to the ’80s, refer to the Round-Up section of the newsletter.
In the coming days, a specific communication will be going out to the membership to address the noticeable increase of waste left behind by our k-9 companions. Our furry friends are a vital part of our Whitetail Club community, but a reminder that the expectation is that dogs are picked up after. Waste is deposited in one of the waste stations located around the community or an approved trash receptacle. We will be installing additional waste stations around the Nordic track to aid in this. Let’s all do our part in keeping the grounds of our community clean and pristine for all to enjoy. Just because Valentine’s Day falls on a Monday this year doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate that special someone at the Club. February 11–13, we’ll be offering specials along with the regular dining menu at the lakefront clubhouse. If you feel like celebrating early, we’ll be ready for you. Did you know we have a Conditions Report on the Member Portal & App? Updated weekly throughout the winter season, our Conditions Report features all the latest about current snow depth, new snow depth, trail groom dates, notes from our Trail Maintenance Team, and a convenient link to McCall’s weather forecast. The Conditions Report also features updates on the Sledding Hill and Ice Rink if you want to partake in a different kind of winter fun! Check the Conditions Report in the footer of the Member Web Portal and in the “Quick Action” menu on the Whitetail Club app!

CLASSIC SKIS > Skis be paired with an assortment of boots and poles to accommodate your physique. SKATE SKIS > If you’re looking for speed and agility training, hit the trails with some skate skis on. SKI ACCESSORIES > A variety of ski boots and poles is available to bolster your ski experience on the trails.
