Dear Whitetail Club Members,
Spring is officially here and with the change of seasons comes much welcomed warmer temperatures. Due to these warmer temperatures, we have officially closed our winter amenities for the season, including the Nordic Track, Skating Rink, and Sledding Hill. Though The Trailhead building is temporarily closed, stay tuned for future communications. Our new fleet of mountain bikes will be housed at The Trailhead for summer and fall. They’re available to the membership on a first-come-first-serve basis. All members should have received an email requesting that you log on to the member portal to review your directory listing. For this year’s directory reprint, we will be pulling the data directly from the Whitetail Club member’s site. You’ll have until April 8th to get your listing updated. Should you have any issues logging in, don’t hesitate to contact the Club Concierge for support. If you haven’t provided a photo, please plan to do so at that time. Prior to the summer season kicking off, we will be assigning and distributing to each membership small keychain FOBs that will gain you access to our lakefront clubhouse through what our team has affectionately termed ‘the Narnia Door.’

If you have any questions regarding accommodating guest access, please reach out, and we can review the options available for you. A few events that I would like to put on your radar. April 17th, we’ll be hosting our annual Easter Brunch & Hunt at the clubhouse. All are welcome to attend; contact us today to confirm your reservation. Eugene and the team will be in Boise for our Spring into Golf outing on May 6th, followed by Paint & Sip at The Fish & Swim Club on the 7th and Mother’s Day Brunch on the 8th at the clubhouse. SPRING HAS ARRIVED here at Whitetail Club, and
with it comes the melting snow, longer days, and a return to more time outside. And while we all need to enjoy the present, we must also stay focused on the future as golf season is fast approaching. With 149 days of play and seven signature events, there’s plenty of time to make the most of the season. Our first signature event is for the ladies only... The 12th Annual Ladies Member Guest. Get your game on and join us as we celebrate girl-power on the greens. Start your day off right Wednesday morning as we rev up your golf game with a practice round followed by a reception at the Golf Grille. On Thursday, a healthy continental breakfast and chair massage will get you loose and limber for the First Round Shamble, which includes a hole-in-one special prize. After a morning of tournament play, we will gather for lunch and then head to the clubhouse for some lakeside fun. On Friday, we head into the Second Round Scramble and another chance for a special prize. After the competition concludes, we will gather at The Fish & Swim Club for south-of-the-borderinspired cocktails and an awards luncheon.

Log in to your portal account to make any updates on address, phone number, email, or names in your household. After April 8, the member contact information listed in the member portal will be printed in the 2022-23 hard copy of the Whitetail Club Member Directory. EARTH AND ARCHITECTURE Inspired by our membership’s love of the outdoors, the Design-Build Collection blurs the line between the outdoors and the indoors—seamlessly integrating the raw beauty of materials like birchwood, river rock, and tamarack timber into the design of these mountain-modern homes. With Earth Day on April 22, we’re highlighting the ingenious design and natural materials envisioned for Whitetail Club’s Design-Build Collection. Our picturesque mountain-lake location inspires architects to develop the most efficient designs while using local materials whenever possible. Birch’s design incorporates large roof overhangs that provide protection from the McCall elements, help minimize heat gain during the summer months, and decrease foundation erosion by strategically distributing runoff. Mountain Time boasts a concrete exterior with natural stone and metal accents and incorporates reclaimed wood throughout. Due to the wood’s density and ability to trap air effectively, it serves as an excellent barrier and insulator during the summer and winter. And Highlands introduced a contemporary yet fitting concrete pattern dubbed as ‘board-formed concrete.’ This unique patterning process imprints a realistic wood grain image, visually leaving a soft and warmer accent to its cooler tones while keeping the concrete’s durability intact. Not to mention that during the colder seasons, board form concrete structures help keep warmth from sources like fireplaces and heaters.
