Dear Whitetail Club Members,

Thank you to all our members that attended our February Brundage tailgate. It was a beautiful bluebird day and the groomers were in perfect condition. What a great way to end our 2019/20 tailgate season. And we have a lot to forward to in 2020. Next up we have our first ever Underground Dinner Party and the Knob Creek Launch Party on March 14, which will feature our very own barrel of Knob Creek bourbon. Make sure you stick around for a chance to groove to some incredible music in the Upper Pavilion during a live performance by rising country music star, Elaina Kay. Then, Revel on the Shore kicks off the evening of April 3. This event opens with a Speakeasy Party on Friday evening before a weekend packed with events, classes, mixers, and a Winemaker’s Dinner, featuring wine from Drew Bledsoe’s winery. Members have a special price, so make sure to rsvp with the Club Concierge today.

Stay tuned for information later this month on our two annual signature golf tournaments: The Ladies Member Guest and the Men’s Invitational. The participation was huge last year, and we expect it to be the same for 2020, so we encourage you to check your calendars now to make sure you are blocking off time to be at Whitetail Club. Welcome to our newest members, Matt and Jamie Cilley. And congratulations to Terry Rogers for taking top honors along with his teammate at Thunderbirds ‘Phil Harris’ member-member tournament. As you know by now, a digital edition of the monthly Trailblazer is now accessible anytime via the Whitetail Club Member Portal and app, where you can read the current issue as well as past editions at any time with just a touch of your finger. Because of this moving forward, you’ll have the choice to either receive your copy of the Trailblazer exclusively online or a printed issue. In the coming days, you will receive an email from Whitetail Club giving you the option to opt-out of the printed version of the Trailblazer. Sun Valley Jazz & Music Festival is strumming its way onto the shores of Payette Lake this April for rd Shore Lodgeâ€™s 3 annual Jazz Party

Join us at Shore Lodge from Friday, April 24 through to Sunday, April 26, and enjoy three days of live musical performances from an all-star lineup of musicians. Hailing from all corners of the U.S., audiences will be dazzled by a unique program featuring classic jazz, big band, and everything in between. During this can’t-miss weekend, the Shore Lodge Culinary Team will create some harmony of their own with one-of-a-kind menus, hand-crafted cocktails, and a score of savory hors d’oeuvres. Food and drink services will be no-host/non-member charge, so come prepared to take advantage. Launching Friday afternoon, doors swing open at 4pm. The first act takes the stage at 5pm, followed by multiple performances until 11pm in the evening. Saturday morning sees a bright and early start at 9:30am and then returns at 4:30pm after a brief intermission. The party closes on a high note at noon on Sunday after an entire morning of lively performances that will have you tapping your toes well into the following week. Both General Admission and VIP tickets grant access to the entire lineup of performances, and à la carte tickets to these events may be purchased based on availability.

Rising Country Music Star Takes on McCall

A Texas native, Kay’s unconventional upbringing on her family’s ranch has formed much of the subject matter she covers in her music, along with a fierce independent streak. Nominated for a Dallas Observer Music Award and a Central Track Music Honor for “Best Country Act,” Kay said ‘so long’ to 2019 as the opening act for Wynonna Judd. Happiest when she’s singing and strumming, Kay is looking forward to her first performance at Shore Lodge on March 14.

The Year’s Ultimate Viewing Parties at The Clubhouse

The Masters Tournament on April 12 marks the first in a series of four viewing parties that will take place throughout the spring and summer. We are arranging these viewing parties so that members can gather together to watch the tournament finales from the comfort of The Clubhouse. Special snacks will be served throughout the day with a themed menu based on the location of the tournament. For the Masters, we’ll be serving favorites such as pimento cheese and egg salad sandwiches. Members will also have an opportunity to flex their golf muscle by participating in different contests for prizes. Join us from 12–6pm at the clubhouse. No RSVP required.
