Dear Whitetail Club Members,
Please help me welcome our newest members, Tracy Lotz, Jim & Ronda Conger, David Hale & Shelby Butterfield, and Walter & Mary Stallcup, to the Whitetail Club family. A sincere welcome to you all! A reminder to please pay attention to your weekly and monthly club communications. Not only for up-to-date information on all things Whitetail Club but with there is the potential for restaurant hours of operations, facilities, or events to be modified as we monitor recommendations made by the CDC, CDH, and other governing officials. It’s our top priority to provide a safe and fun environment for our members, guests, and team members. Our weekly emails, member portal, app, and the monthly Trailblazer are all communication points to keep you informed of any possible updates or changes to your Whitetail Club experience. An additional reminder that all restaurant seating has been modified to reflect the recommendations of our local and national health organizations. What does this mean? Not as many tables or seats are available. To ensure you have an enjoyable experience, make your reservations in advance by using the Whitetail app, contacting the restaurant directly, or by utilizing our concierge services. The team will be looking forward to taking care of you.
Our grounds team has been logging some serious hours on our single-track mountain bike trail system. Reports confirm that seasonal maintenance is coming along very well, and the track is in great condition. A mountain bike ride is an excellent way to get some fresh air while practicing some physical distancing, which, as we know if very ‘in’ right now. If you’re new to the sport, we have trails for all skill levels. A reminder that we have a fleet of mountain bikes available for your use on a first-come, firstserve basis and at no additional cost to you. Maps are located in the Fish & Swim Club and on the members portal. Thank you again for your support and patience as we continually work towards providing a healthy and fun summer experience at Whitetail Club.

Located adjacent to the 9th green, our brand-new training facility will take your golf experience at Whitetail Club from a seasonal sport to a year-round craft. As you enter The Studio, you will be met with two training bays, each outfitted with realistic turf, draped enclosures, and a revolutionary simulator to extend our golf season. Play, train, or have tournaments with fellow members on over fifty courses around the globe – including Royal Portrush, Innisbrook, Muirfield Village, Albany, PGA National, and the four legendary St. Andrews Links courses – all without ever having to leave Whitetail Club. Featuring hyper-realistic graphics, ultraeffective atmospheric effects, and secondto-none ballflight, the virtual golf module at The Studio makes your game more fun, rewarding, and informative. This facility will be outfitted with a pair of TrackMan 4 – the most revolutionary
training tool in the industry and the leading launch monitoring technology on the PGA Tour right now. From club speed to face angle to ball spin and so much more, the internal HD camera coupled with state-ofthe-art software provides you performanceenhancing graphics to show you a complete analysis of every swing. This tiny but fierce machine can show you the trajectory of any shot (from 6-foot pitches to 400-yard drives) and deliver conclusive data in an easy-tounderstand format, allowing you to measure and analyze all the metrics that you’ve always had to guess. What’s more, The Studio will feature north-facing doors allowing you to hit out onto the greens for the most realistic training experience. Thorough analysis can be key to improving your game. Now, with The Studio as a part of your golf experience you can optimize your every swing before the 2021 golf season rolls around. — THE ALL-NEW CART BARN — Whitetail Club’s new fleet of 65 golf carts is getting a brand-new home! The cart barn, located next to The Studio and 9th green, will house a robust irrigation tech hub, new restroom facilities for players in the middle of their 18-hole game, a bag room for complimentary member & guest club storage, and for a small fee, members can store their carts to be charged and lightly maintained in between uses. This 6,700 sq. ft. facility will feature an enormous chandelier, polished floors, north-facing barn doors that open out onto a patio with a firepit and soft seating next to an all-new chipping green and putting green. The cart barn will be a perfect space for club events and private parties!

Tee time
I hope your June was great. With the exception of spotty weather, the play and participation have been awesome. Thank you for helping us with the two carts per group. The golf course has benefitted tremendously, and we all appreciate your help with this initiative. Now we need consecutive days of good weather, and we will be all set. I think July’s weather will be perfect! As we head into the prime golf month, I want to review what we have coming up. On Saturday, July 11th, we have Callaway and Ping doing a Demo Day. Join us and try all the newest equipment and get fit for the latest and greatest.
We tee off at 2pm and play 12 holes and then have dinner at the Yurt. The golf format is fun. Guests are welcome. Make your foursome (or fivesome), or the golf shop will pair you. The beginning of August is the Men’s Invitational, Wednesday through Saturday, August 5–8. We currently have 35 teams and want to get to our max of 60. I hope if you are not presently signed up, you can play with us. It is annually the best week of the summer. We have wonderful events planned and tremendous entertainment booked! Call me with any questions or to get your team signed up. On Tuesday, July 30th, Scot Ludwig made another ACE. On hole #6 from 158 yards, he feathered a 9 iron into the hole. The shot was witnessed by Whitey Baird, Dirk Koetter and DH Moss. Congratulations Scot!! As always, if you have any questions or concerns please reach out.
Later that night, we have the season’s first tournament, the 9 & Dine. Space is still available. We tee off at 5 pm and have a wonderfully prepared dinner under the stars on the 12th tee prepared by Chef Marcus. July 15–18 is the Ladies Member Guest. We currently have 22 teams playing. If you can join us for this awesome three days of golf and fun, please let me know. There is still time to sign up! On Saturday, July 19th, I hope to see all of tomorrow’s star players joining us for the Junior Club Championship. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to play. The number of holes played will be determined by the age of the player. Sign up in the golf shop. The following weekend is the Club Championship. We have Men’s & Ladies’ divisions, Senior and Super Senior, and overall Net flights. All players are welcome. Thursday, July 30th, is the ladies’ favorite event, Caddies & Cocktails. This event grows bigger each year.
