Director’s Note
To Our Whitetail Club Members
And just like that, it’s a brand new year and a new decade. I can’t think of a better way to kick off a new year at Whitetail Club (and the annual McCall Winter Carnival) than a concert from one of my all-time favorite bands... Well, almost. This year for our Winter Signature event Almost Journey, one of the top allaround Journey tribute bands will perform exclusively for Whitetail Club members and their guests for one night only. Playing nationally and internationally, Almost Journey will hit all the right notes bringing us the classics like Only the Young, Don’t Stop Believin’, Wheel in the Sky, and Faithfully. Doors open at 7:30pm, the show starts at 8pm, and friends are welcome. This is a post-dinner event. Make sure to get your reservations made at the clubhouse restaurant in advance. Contact the concierge today to book your tickets to the Winter Signature Event. Kids are welcome. There will be a change in schedule for our January and February Brundage Tailgates. In years past, we’ve held our tailgates on Sundays; but starting this year, we’ll be moving them to Saturdays. Mark your calendars for January 25th and February 22nd. Same time, same location, same experience. I look forward to seeing you all on the hill.
to reflect this new option, with the intent of having it functional within the next month. Stay tuned to future communications for updates. Until then, please continue to utilize Whitetail Club’s Member Services Team to assist with scheduling some court time. A reminder that The Fish & Swim Club is your hub for all outdoor activities during the winter season. Our team is busy maintaining the Nordic trails, skating pond, sledding hill, and snowshoe loops for your enjoyment. And complimentary equipment of all sizes is available for you and your family on a first-come-first-serve basis. Contact our concierge team with any questions. The 2020 Calendar of Events is locked and loaded on the member portal. Utilize our member portal and app for quick and easy access to all things Whitetail Club Welcome to our newest members, Bob & Deborah Bradley. Here’s to a great year. Let it snow,
We’ll be adding the ability to reserve the tennis court from the Whitetail Club Member Portal app. This will entirely replace our existing process of using the signup sheet for booking the court to play tennis, pickleball, or a pick-up game of basketball. As I type, we are busy updating the Whitetail Club Member Portal and app 3.
The weekend of January 25 will pack a punch! McCall Winter Carnival will be in full swing, the first Brundage Tailgate of the year will be happening and rock legends will be heading to Whitetail Club. Well, almost. Escape down memory lane to when Journey ruled the airwaves. Almost Journey, the preeminent Journey tribute band, will take the Whitetail Club stage for the 2020 Winter Signature Event. Almost Journey has toured the world for seventeen years carrying the flag of the Rock and Roll Hall Of Famers, and for one night only they will be playing Whitetail Club. Experience their never-ending hit list including: Don’t Stop Believin’, Separate Ways, Stone In Love, Faithfully, Wheel in the Sky, Who’s Crying Now, and so much more. Be Good To Yourself and RSVP by January 14! Cost is $50* for adults and $25* for kids. Remember to make your dinner reservation at the clubhouse before the show, as this is a post-dinner event. A full bar will be available during the show at member charge only. This event is open to friends and family of all ages, but space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot before it disappears! Tickets and dinner reservations are available via the member portal or by calling the Club Concierge at 208.630.0245.

Best in Show August 15 The dogs of Whitetail Club make up a coveted portion of Whitetail Club’s membership. Whether they’re big or small, shaggy or sleek, one thing is for certain – they are our best friends through and through. Knowing these pups deserve a shot at 15 minutes of fame, Whitetail Club has organized a club wide dog show. Does your dog know any special tricks? Have you taught your furry friend to play dead or “speak?” Do they act extra silly when they smell their favorite treat in your hand? Save the date to show them off at Whitetail Club’s first ever Best in Show.
