It’s All Fun and Games… NOW THAT’S COOKING! >> The 4th annual Shore Lodge Culinary Festival took center stage for another year of foodie fireworks. Guests joined us for an action-packed weekend of epicurean revelry featuring cooking and wine education classes, a farmer’s and fair trade market, a very special Winemaker’s Dinner, Sunday brunch, and the main event: The Culinary King of the Mountain competition, which had four of Idaho’s top chefs battle it out for the crown.
SWINGING OUT OF HIBERNATION >> After a long, golf-less winter, our members were able to bring out their clubs and jump-start their season with a fun trip to Boise. Members enjoyed two rounds of golf on one of Boise’s courses, dinner and a stay at a lovely downtown hotel. The following day we returned to our mountain-lake haven to await the resurgence of our championship course.
SOUL-COUNTRY CROONIN’ >> The Shore Lodge Concert series returned on April 22nd, with the season 11 winner of The Voice: Sundance Head. The charismatic crooner packed the show with his signature mashup of country, southern soul, rock, and blues during his singular Idaho performance, at Shore Lodge. Guests were able to get up close + personal in this intimate venue, and met the man himself after the show.

A Season Worth Celebrating‌ THE UNVEILING

In May we unveiled our newest and most highly anticipated amenity: the clubhouse. The grand opening introduced members to all the features of this stunning waterfront property. Members were invited to join us for a selfguided tour, where they navigated through specialty cocktail and appetizer stations while a live band filled the luxuriously-appointed social hub with ambient music. LET THE GAMES BEGIN! >> Back at home after the Get Swinging Again golf trip, we started the golf season with a bang! Members and their guests were invited to form fourperson teams and hit the course to welcome the comeback of our championship course with some friendly competition. The game was open to all players, regardless of handicap, making it the perfect way to celebrate the new beginnings.
A TOAST TO THE GOOD LIFE >> Immediately following the Season Opening Tournament, members were all invited to join us for a spring Member Mixer at the Golf Shop & Grille. We mixed and mingled, discussing the day’s birdies and bogeys while celebrating the start of the golf season and the return of our migratory members over wine and cocktails.

An Appetite For… WINING AND DINING >> Shore Lodge’s popular Winemaker’s Dinner returned in June with a speciallycrafted five-course meal paired with selections from the family owned and highly acclaimed Browne Family Vineyards. Owner Andrew Browne discussed his operation’s uncompromising commitment to excellence and the inspiration behind the vineyard while guests enjoyed the night’s offerings.
PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT >> Our 3rd annual Pickleball Tournament was quite a hit! Members signed up in one of three divisions: single ladies, single men or co-ed doubles. All skill levels were invited to compete, making the event a truly inclusive community affair. Following the fun, fast-paced game, we met at the Member Mixer for an awards ceremony and celebratory cocktails.
SIMPLY DELICIOUS FARE >> Among the new arrivals and celebrations at Whitetail Club, we were thrilled to announce the opening of The Cutwater at Shore Lodge. This spectacular new restaurant featuring indoor/outdoor seating, a 2,000-gallon saltwater fish tank, an analog game room and a coffee shop proudly serving Starbucks coffee, is now offering simply delicious food on the shores of Payette Lake for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week.
